Now you may look at the forza horizon 3 trailer and think that it is so amazing and action packed. Their is more that you have not heard of.
Pro’s;
Nice graphics,
Massive selection of cars,
kind of big map,
Con’s;
The map can be explored mostly in a short amount of time of playing the game,
The EXP boards are easy to find, as i have found 118 in just a month of playing a couple hours a day, and playing a lot of time on the weekends,
I finished the story line of the game within 1 week. Many people also agree that i talked too that this game had no story line,
The shots in the trailer of desert dune jumping, well that is not a desert and the whole outback in this game is 5 miles long which is small,
Paradise city is long 6 skyscrapers and small houses. Not really a city,
It cost 10,000 credits to change your car when your outside your HQ, which is a lot of money wasted,
That massive beach you see in the trailer is really just a mile long and their is nothing but a giant rock their,
Servers are only a max of 12 people,
The game lacks story line and i also say this again because they made up for it by putting a total of 20 races for each HQ unlocked and fully maxed, and each race is its own championship made of 4 races that are all really the same,
Their is a massive jungle on the left side of the map, too bad its blocked off by invisible walls. i say this because this section of jungle take sup 1/6th of the map and you cant even access it,
If you make a paint job for a car and you get a ton of sales you become a skilled painter, this means you can buy and sell cars for more. This makes no sense because i have made hundreds of sales form tuning public setups and have got no special features,
It takes forever to level up, i’m level 380.
The race earn you no money what so ever, so you have to resort to hours of farming money to get any cash,
The hype was way too big for this game. I wish they recreated all of Australia and made it 3,000 miles across ad-least. This is because forza horizon 3 is only 11 miles across,
The speeds are distance are unrealistic. This is because i was jump across a 100 foot little canyon and it would say 1000 feet. I also jumped 5 feet off the ground once and it said 30 feet.
Yeah ut i paid 100$ becasue i wante dto get every car pack for free. Also is that your best excuse? I’m just saying that blizzard mountain should be included with the game.
Maybe you don’t play call of duty but you also pay for those maps if you want them. If not you don’t buy them. This is nothing new and I have no problem with it. If you don’t like it don’t buy the game.
I’ve really tried to like this game but as far as competitive racing games go it’s just way too childish and silly for me. Pity really because it needn’t have been.
Very true. The only upside to this being the game is very laid back which is nice when you’ve got a group of competitive players just chillin around. I myself are more of a competitive motorsport guy and most of the friends I’ve made through the franchise are through the motorsport genre and as you said horizon 3 is aimed at a younger audience. But it is nice to take a year out from the competitive scene that is Forza Motorsport especially when you have a few friends just CRUISING around chatting. It can almost be quite relaxing when doing it that way.
Also Australia wasn’t the best place to do this Forza. It would be better if they tried to make the map real and to scale. I wouldn’t care if it was 750 GB.
750 GB so you can only store this game on your Xbox? And that’s only if you have a Terrabyte of memory. I don’t want a game that big as it would take a week to download the digital game and do you know have many discs that would be?
I’m guessing the size of the map is due to game engine limitations.
pros: car list (needs more Mitsubishis though like come on Mitsubishi aren’t only known only for the Evolution)
details of map (and the inclusion of water on the map is great)
blizzard mountain.
forzathon.
cons:lack of Mitsubishi’s (lacks the 8th gen Galant/Legnum vr4, FTO, Galant GTO, GTO, Mirage Cyborg, Lancer 1600 GSR, V3000, AWD Diamante and the Starion)
The big PC dev build leak that happened in January (oops shouldn’t talk about it)
lack of twisty roads (probably because of the choice of location)
lack of track creator (horizon blueprint is a bit of a letdown)
The lack of twisty roads isnt from Choice of location
Its only loosely based in Australia…
The map is made up and nothing is where it actually is in real life… roads could have been made as twisty as they wanted…
There is a few quite twisty ones in certain areas though
I always thought Australia was mostly spaced out with mostly long straights but then if there are twisty roads in the usa for example surely there would be ones in Australia.
a map with more twisty roads would be nice though.
Only one con for me: ANNA won’t keep her pie hole shut! That being said, there are A LOT of pros (too many to mention) and despite ANNA, this is still my favorite game ever!
I agree with you Hurricane, i preordered and still play almost every day. But there is one major con for me, playing online. I hate it. I hate the way it’s set up, and I hate the mini games too. I also hate the Forzathon events that require online gameplay.
