Problems with Logitech G920

Hey there,
heres my Problem:
(Sorry for my possible bad english, i hope you can understand everything important)

I got a Logitech G920.
This Wheel has a nice FFB, so why should i using the Center Spring? The car should center the wheel itself when driving, when it stands still or lost contact it should stay in the position it is.
So it only happens when i set the “Center Spring Scale” to “0”
When the steering wheel is centered or im driving more than 50 km/h, everything is fine.
The Problem:
When im driving slower, when im parking or when im in the Menu the Problem occurs: When i just move the wheel a little bit in any direction, it starts to spin itself left.
When im turning it right, it spins left back to the center position.
When im turning it a little bit left, it spins left until it cant move no more. At this point, its very hard to turn it back.

What i did:
reinstalled the game
reinstalled the logitech software
then i walked back to the store, and they gave me a brand new wheel, still the same problem.
i tried with the original firmware and with the patched firmware.
After all, i reinstalled windows.
Nothing changed.
Is this a known bug? I cant find smt, but after the steps i did, it seems like it must be reproduceable.
I tried other games to, and itried it on another PC.
With Project Cars 2, the Problem doesnt appear.
But on another PC with Forza Horizon 3 its just the same when i set the “Center Spring Scale” to “0”

I hope someone can reproduce this error and help me.
Greetings and thanks in advance
mel

hey buddy,

I am having the same issue with forza horizon 4 and my g920, really need some help with this too. at least you know its not just you now

I own the G29 (Ps4/PC version) I only use very low values for the center spring. I don’t really understand it. Recently I found that the setting has become reversed. 0 used to be off and it either goes to 99 or 100 and can’t be turned off? 99-100 is now the starting values and 0-5 say are the strongest values. They did something last month also that made it way easier to drift. The wheel will actually countersteer by itself vs having to slowly whip the wheel.

But yeah, best to have it on a low value or off. Other settings should make it straighten out when you’re driving. This setting will make the wheel turn straight no matter what. If it’s going wack in the menus, I have no idea. I think it’s just “drives straight” for me, in the menus. (Very annoying when you press pause when racing and in a turn)
