Problems with Launch Control and race starts. Please help

Context:
Hello, I had FH5 purchased on launch, played for around 400 hours and dropped it. I have now come back and I am finding difficulties with the Launch Control update. I usually have my cars tuned on high rpm-low torque RWD with a long first gear and short 2nd gear through top gear. At race starts my cars usually had a limited spin that didn’t bounce on the limiter and this provided very quick starts for both AWD and RWD.
My Problem:
However with the new launch control update my tunes are completely useless. I find myself having very slow and whack race starts with both LC off and on. Cars cant seem to rev more than 2-3k rpm on race starts and it takes about 10 seconds to accelerate through first gear when my expected acceleration is around 3-4 seconds. (first gear goes beyond 100kmh or maybe even beyond 150kmh)
One example:
My AWD McLaren f1 GT with AWD and LC on, starts at 4k rpm and takes about 2.6 seconds for 0-100. Without LC, (tested on free roam) I can make the car do its old acceleration where it revs to 6-7k, spins a bit but ultimately it hits 0-100 in about 2.3. The big thing is I cant do the free roam start on race starts and my McLaren does a very weird 2k rpm start (if i disable LC) and it takes about 3-4 business days to reach 100kmh. I don’t want to play with LC on or turbo with anti-lag (because most of my cars don’t use turbo), but no matter what I do my race starts are no longer what they used to be.
What I am trying to achieve :
I want to ask if anyone has some way to fix the whack race starts without me changing all my tunes and without enabling LC because I have too many hours on my finely tuned cars that puts even the computer to shame. Who even decided to make the update this way anyway…

Increase the first gear ratio so you avoid wheel slip (spin) after the lunch control effect diminishs. So you’ll be on 2nd gear early with RWD.

In case of 4WD, I always use high torque, which works with lower 1st gear ratio.

1: Increasing first gear ratio would be messing with tunes. My cars have tens if not hundred hours of fine tune. They do not need to be messed with.
2: I am NOT using launch control. Nor will be using launch control.
3: I do not need to be early on 2nd gear because its spinning enough to get me going fast without bouncing off limiter and losing time.
4: In case of AWD its the same. I do not need to mess with tune, it was fine.

I just want to avoid my cars launching at 2000 rpm for no reason when it worked brilliantly before this stupid launch control update.

You can switch off launch control from the menu, just like ABS.

AntiLag is not on your car unless you equip it in upgrade.

I already told you I am not using either. LC is already off and anti-lag… well… im not using turbos for 90% of my builds so yeah… Im ok with anti lag if my build has turbo but even with LC off I still don’t get my old launches. In fact I get even worse race starts with LC disabled

From what I remember of the relevant patch notes, all cars get LC at race starts regardless of the personal setting, which I think just applies to freeroam.

So what i think you are saying is these 3 things :

  1. All my tunes are rendered useless and I have to spend time remaking all my cars tunes (not gonna waste time doing that, if im forced to i will just uninstall it again)
  2. All builds within FH5, that are RPM (HP) over torque are trash now (since the launches arent above 2k with LC disabled and not above 4k with LC enabled, meanwhile RPM oriented builds have very high peaks it takes 10 seconds for 0-100 and even if you tune to change into second your low rpm bogs the engine down anyway so its trash…)
  3. Theres absolutely no way for me to get rid of this trash setting?
Is there anyway to link this to support and try getting them to do something about it…

I turned LC off as it was ruining starts in cars lower than A class and higher than that I often need to change gears twice before the tachometer shows up any way.
