I have a Thrustmaster wheel/pedal setup, and in Forza 7 specifically, the moment I give any brake input, the brakes start locking up and my wheel starts shaking. If I increase the brake acceleration amount, while it’s true I can give more input to the brake pedal before anything happens, as soon as it reaches that acceleration point , and the brake pedal triggers the car to start braking, the brakes are locking up again. I see no way to change this. I have tried adjusting the acceleration and deceleration amounts, and it makes no difference. The only way to play this game without the brakes locking up all the time is to give the slightest input to my brake pedal. If I press my brake pedal any more than about an 16th of an inch, the brakes lock up. What is going on?
so this doesn’t happen with other sims that you play? does it happen on horizon 4 (assuming you play that)? what wheel & pedal set do you have? I also use a Thrustmaster wheel so I could help you more directly through an xbox live party. Just send me a party invite If I’m online.
My first thought is that it could be a calibration issue. you can manually recalibrate your pedals by unplugging them from the wheel. plug them back in & press your brake to the max. hold it at max for a few seconds & release. Do that for the other pedals.
