Hi all,
Today I finally got the clamp for my new Fanatec Clubsport Wheelbase V2.5. I have the BMW GT2 Rim and once I got it up and running with the latest drivers I immediately started playing all my favorite games. I first played Assetto Corsa and Project Cars for awhile until I moved on to Forza. I started up Forza 7 and configured everything and went to Forzavista to see the new 911 GT3 RS. I mashed down the throttle to hear the 4.0 i6 scream but when I left off it stayed redlining and would not stop. I jumped into a race to see what the problem was and it seemed whenever I pressed down a pedal it would stay without stopping, permanently. The source of this problem is probably because I am using Thrustmaster pedals connected via adapter with a Fanatec Rim. It worked in other games so I am really confused why it is acting so bizarre in Forza.
To Repeat My Setup:
- Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5
- Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel BMW GT2
- Thrustmaster T3PA Addon Pedals connected via the Thrustmaster VG TRJ12 USB Adapter
The Problem in Detail:
When I release any pedal (Throttle, Brake, Clutch) the game thinks it is still being held down and it won’t stop unless I switch to keyboard or end the race. This problem is exclusive to Forza and no other games. This problem probably can be solved since I think it is derived from me crossing brands. I am just not that sophisticated to figure out the source of the problem.
I would really love to play the new update so anyone that can even give any advice at all would be appreciated.
