PROBLEM - Body Paint Color Changing in the Garage

I could not find this topic despite several attempts to search it out. My apologies in advance if it is a redundant post.

I have a few designs the look good in different base paint colors. What I mean is a detailed design with multiple decals / stripes etc on a basic color paint.

For example, I have two '69 Nissan Fairlady Zs with identical liveries EXCEPT for the basic paint color. In the garage each is displayed as painted One is Blue the Other is Black.
But, taken out of the garage, only one of the two colors appears on each of the cars either both are blue or both are black.

I have the same problem with two Alfa 33s with identical liveries EXCEPT for the basic paint color. One is Red. One is Black.
BUT, whichever one I take out of the garage first, the other takes on that color so that either Both are Red or BOTH are Black.

I’ve tried several approaches to "stabilize the two different colors on the two cars - BUT I have not been able to fix it

Is this a KNOWN Problem? Is there a FIX possible?

Just curious what you’ve named each of the variants on the same cars? Do each of the paints have unique file names? By default every saved design in the game is named ‘Forza Livery’ until you change it. If both of your designs are still named ‘Forza Livery’, I believe I’ve seen some mention that the game can get confused in trying to keep a blue ‘Forza Livery’ and a black ‘Forza Livery’ separate for the same car.

PTG Wildcat - Thanks SO much.
That solved my issue and eliminated a real pain in the A.
