Is there anyway to solve it? apply liveries over and over again? do you guys experience it?

Seems to be broken now. I am wondering if someone from Turn10 takes notice? Issue should be for everyone. May be its related to the number of cars in the garage, using custom liveries.

This has been happening since the release of the game for me, even when I only had a handful of cars and liveries, even so it shouldn’t be happening at all even if you have the most cars and liveries, it’s not a hardware issue, it’s something in the game. Sometimes they will disappear loading into a race, then be re-applied post race, sometimes they’ll disappear while scrolling through the garage, sometimes I’ll just turn on the game and a livery will no longer be applied. Sometimes they don’t totally disappear and I’m left with a few layers. It happens in all different scenarios and it would be great if this were addressed along with other significant bugs like the tune stats not showing up after a certain point in the searched tunes that has carried over from Forza 6.
I’m also just replying to this because I saw it here first, went and checked and there’s also a thread about it in technical support, no official reply yet though.

Off and on. Sometimes liveries show and sometimes there is just a black box where the car is suppose to be in garage drop down menu.
Hey, even the car I quit the game sometimes changes randomly. Last night quit out properly while in 2014 BMW FE and this morning my Ford Focus RS that had turned gray was on the home screen with its livery intact this time. Go figure, but just a minor nuisance for me. As long as my save doesn’t dissappear and I don’t get to many random high latency/low bandwidth disconnects then I can live with it.

For all we know, this bug may never be fixed. I’m gonna assume it has to do with the 3D car models in the car selection, which induces lag and scrambles the coding for the liveries.
While I do experience this bug from time to time, it’s best to give the game or console a reset. Uninstalling the game or resetting the internet isn’t necessary, as the bug lies within the game itself, so don’t expect this issue to go away anytime soon (depending on Turn 10’s debugging capabilities).

I got a Xbox one X and yes me doo livery bug or TUNE bug exemple i got 5 240sx different tune ENGINE rb v8 sr20 and i change car and is not the good engine sound and sometime the game FREEZZ so many bug

As with most of the bugs, I compare FM7 to FH3.
No bugs or glitches of that magnitude in FH3, liveries work perfectly.
Also, the „My cars“ section works great in FH3 without any stutter.
Having all these issues with FM7 on the One X with much more resources in the machine makes it all the more crazy.
Please T10 get your act together, I am sure most of us here could live with less 2CVs and Velosters if you would just fix the base game.
Also, please provide complete Forzavista for all cars, there are a lot of them where you cannot even open doors or trunk and hood.
If all else fails, boot up FM4, all perfect in there.

Forza 4 with just the graphics brought up to date and the latest significant cars added would be the perfect Forza. The old class leaderboards, no driver suit nonsense, etc…

I even raced grey. Solved it by redownloading the livery. It is a issue with the custom liveries.
Yep would have to agree with this as I only have about 10 or so customs all the rest are stock paint jobs only the customs are going gray.
Happening more than ever now for me, it actually seems to be getting worse every time I play.
Consistently Grey Cars, VERY Consistently Annoying.

Jup had this too, in general ‘‘My Garage’’ is very bugy and slow, the small tiles/pictures often don’t correspond with the paint/design actually present on the car. I too hope it gets fixed quick!
I’m getting it on more and more cars.
It’s spreading like a virus.

I couldn’t have said it better. It started out very random and for the most part infrequently. Now I am to the point that if the livery doesn’t turn Grey I think something is wrong, basically expecting it with each stroll thru my garage of cars.
On a side note my message center in game also went completely blank today, displaying nothing but black screen.

edit The issue has been consistent for me from day one, hugely irritating but not holding my breath for a solution any time soon - if at all.
