I hope you are right about leveling up and getting better cars. Right now I am only being offered the 50k credits, the useless driver gear, or cars I already own. Will I start seeing cars I don’t own eventually?
One reason why I gave up on getting cars thrióugh crates.
You can buy cars if you have enough money. There are no “special” cars in crates you couldn´t get otherwise.
It´s different for driver gear: some can be only won in special crates, but this changes from time to time.
So I recommend making money by racing and getting the cars by levelling up. There are two or three locked cars I got by levelling up.
If you´re after special driver gear, try your luck by buying crates. But beware: not all rare or legendary driver gears are always in the crates.

New crates are up, looks like they’re “generic” again as no exclusive or specific rewards have been mentioned in the descriptions.
Update: Just opened 10 of each and yes, it’s generic content. Nothing new or noteworthy.

Thanks for keeping the thread going. Saved me the trouble of wasting any credits. Doing races on the “long” setting. Usually 150k+ and a full level that nets either a free or heavy discount on a car or driver gear. Wish the crates were more worth it.
Problem with these crates is that the chance is ridiculously small… And you might get lots of Badges, which are useless and don’t return any money for duplicates.
The Mod Cards aren’t any better than what you can get from a regular Master Mod Crate either. The special Crates are the only way to get mods such as ghost car, but if you have a good grid position mod you shouldn’t need them anyway unless you’re driving a track such as Monza where the first corner is undrivable with many AI opponents.
The only Legendary car I ever got from these special crates was the Centenario.

Per the July 2nd #ForzaMonthly livestream, going forward there will be changes to the economy and ability to buy locked Exclusive cars, and cars will no longer be included in Prize Crates starting July 10.

These are not the only ones. I’ve got Business Suit, Samurai and a few others. There’s also a good chance of filling up your collection with the remaining Rare gear you don’t have, which can help soften the investment on these crates.
So out of 100 Driver suits you got 1 you did not have wow that is just like wow dude epic
If all 3 say 75% for rare or better would it be better to buy 3-4 Single Crates to get multiple rare or betters or do the more expensive crates often have multiple rare or betters in each one?
Update: Bought 5 cheap ones and each had a rare but nothing better so far. I bought 2 Buy-4-Get-1 crates. First one was awesome with 2 rares 2 super rare and 1 Legendary (Golfer). Second one had a common, 2 uncommons & 2 rares so felt ripped off on that one. Bought one 3-Driver Gear crate and it had an Uncommon and 2 Rares. So far conclusion is cheaper is better unless you are chasing more exclusive Super Rare and Legendary suits then seems on very limited research that you benefit from more expensive crates but be prepared to be disappointed in the pursuit as well.
