Priivate Match Grid Ordering

How can u set the grid order, and how can u qualify

I dont think you can… Its random… I know in the league I am in, we qualify, and then set the distance for one extra lap to account for a warm up lap and to get into your qualify position.

This right here is the only way you can. It must be too difficult to implement. I mean, it’s not like there have been online games that managed to pull it off nearly 2 decades ago… /sarcasm

Lol.

Apparently you guys didn’t see where TURN 10 added these lobby options on the last update. They were 100% working until last weekend when all the lobbies broke. Lobbies don’t respond to the grid ordering option correctly and even worse show by FINISHING TIME instead of who crossed the finish line first. Hopefully Turn 10 is working on fixing these issues likely caused by latest updates on their end.

You have 3 options for grid ordering: PI, random and best lap.

Try best lap with Ascending Yes

It works with AI cars but I 'm not sure if it’s really best lap time or race finish order.

I run in a league that uses the best lap grid order and can confirm it works. Remember, clean laps will be above dirty laps on grid this way

I do as well. On Sunday we ran a 10 minute qualifier then went into our race. The race did not set the grid order correctly, best lap ascending confirmed setup correctly.

On Saturday I ran in a can am league where 2nd place was shown in 3rd place. We confirmed lobby options were setup normally. This same thing happened in an s class series I run Sunday nights, 2 guys were shown out of order.

The way its usually done is a short qual session and have the results based on best time, then when you go to the next lobby as long as noone leaves you will be in the correct grid order, just dont forget to change it off of time based for the next session.

Good to know that option is back.
