I also have the same issue, im on Gamepass ultimate family I share with a friend of mine. His account is the primary. I Bought the premium add on was hoping for early access but says does not need installed and wont let me in the game saying im early also im on a Xbox Series s.
Iām having the same issue on Series S. It says I own all the add ons and Iām getting the vip credits bonus but none of the dlc or welcome pack cars are in my garage. Hoping this will be resolved soon.
So I noticed there are 2 separate types of crowns in the game (you can see it on TheGeoduck34346ās images. One crown has 5 points, the other has 3.
I have 3 points (even though Iāve paid for the premium version that should have 5).
The 3-point crown indicates is what you would get if you bought the VIP DLC all by itself. The 5-point is what you would get if you purchased the premium version of the game.
So for some reason we are being marked as regular old VIPs instead of Premium VIPs.
Not sure why or how to fix it. But Iāve been doing a bunch of detective work and thatās where Iām at so far.
Same bug here
Same for us. Family Account, Game Pass Ultimate - i am having full Access and my son Not. Bur everything is shown as owned. What can be done ???
same here
It wouldāve really been nice if they stated this before I spent money to buy premium on an account I just use as an archive for all my digital games. Actually kind of irritating.
Same here. Iām level 25 in game, and all packs show āready to use in-game; no download neededā. On PC. Please fix
The forza support link above explains it. If youāre on a secondary account, from where you bought premium, you have to buy the cars from the autoshow and you donāt get the 500k credits.
The problem is that I accidentally used another account to log in to Xbox to save my game progress many years ago. My FH and FM purchasing accounts have always been different from my playing accounts.
Is this considered family sharing? This has never happened before.
I am starting to worry about how to buy games in the future.
Moreover, many people use only one account and encounter exactly the same problem. Iām afraid this cannot be explained by the so-called āfamily sharingā.
Hey everyboy,
it“s not a bug - it“s a feature.
Unfortunately they did not explain this before all of us spent a lot of money on the expensive packageā¦
Iām not sure if their explanation fits my situation since my son and I are playing on the same console, which is the home console of the purchaser. This has worked to get the full benefits of the premium edition, including DLC, for both of us on Horizon 4 and 5 as well as Motorsport 7. It seems strange that they would have changed the policy just now after allowing it for so many versions.
And if this is a policy change they didnāt announce, it still has a significant bug. If Iām supposed to buy a 2nd premium bundle to get the DLC for myself, it wonāt let me because the store says I already own it. At this point I canāt even pay more for the DLC if thatās their new policy. Iāve submitted a ticket and will see what they say.
Wow. So a change compared to all the predecessors that wasnāt even clearly communicated before launch. In return, we got a half-hearted game after six years of waiting with a loveless career, no drifting, a questionable RPG system and no things like drifts. After Redfall, Minecraft Legends and Starfield, I should just stop buying Xbox games.
That has never been the case. Only microtransactions are always limited to one purchase. DLCs never were. For me, an absolute no go. No, I will not pay five times for DLCs for my 5-person household in the future. Other consoles have nice games too.
Same problem. And about buying DLC 2nd time but You canāt, makes no sense. Please let us know what they will say.
āexpensive packageā => 21.50⬠for the premium bundle in island xD

Yes, never encountered this before.
Even though I donāt share the game with others, I still have two accounts. This is because when I first played Horizon 3 many years ago, I registered with account B, but my game was purchased on account A.
Thatās how Iāve been using it since. Because I neither want to lose save progress nor repurchase the game.
I am using a PC, account A is used for the Microsoft store, and account B is used for the Xbox app. Iām not sure if this counts as āfamily sharingā.
I submitted a ticket on the support website two days ago and there has been no response from staff. Itās the same here, itās just a group of us giving feedback on the same issues over and over again.
Since I purchased Horizon 3, 4, 5 and Motorsport 7 on account A, the corresponding game saves are all in account B. I donāt know what to do in the future. If this situation applies to the recent official FAQ article, I will either lose the save or need to buy the game again.
This is quite disappointing.
Yep, Iām using the exact same setup on my PC. This change does nothing but complicate how I use my computer and make me grind unnecessarily for something I paid for. I also have a support ticket for this with no response yet. I hope they will reverse this decision because it really isnāt a good look with all the other issues the game has.
That is why I also assumed a bug here. Until Horizon 5, this was never the case. I have been playing since Motorsport 2.
What really annoys me is that this was simply decided on the sly and not mentioned in the FAQ with a single word before launch. We only have payment information on my husbandās account. But he plays far less. Since he works in management, his days are long and he usually prefers to be entertained with series. If the developers had at least communicated this change beforehand, we could have bought with another account. But not only did they change their own practice after years, they also didnāt inform people about it before they could make their purchase decision.
I will now also draw my consequences from this experience. Microsoft has disappointed several times recently with its studios. Pre-orders no longer seem appropriate to me. I expect something in return for my trust. Clear communication is clearly part of this. Sadly, I even passed up the Spider-Man Deluxe Edition for this.
