The updated intro sequence, where when you boot the game on a new account it now gives you an option to go straight to LEGO Valley or to do the traditional introduction. Boot Game → Initial Drive (Four Seasons) → Select your first car (Focus, Audi, Dodge) → Traditional Route -OR- LEGO Route… taking the LEGO route automatically unlocks all the intro races, the stunt story and your first house on the mainland once you travel back from LEGO Valley also lets you jump right into Online play quicker. (This update already went live a couple days ago).
Star Card Rewards: It appears as though we may possibly be getting rewards for completing star cards. It would appear that the Explorer Superstar might give the Viking Helmet (or costume), Racing Superstar may give a LEGO helmet, Superstar Creator maybe duck costume???, Horizon Story Superstar a Ferrari 812?, Online Adventure Superstar orange duck costume??, and a Rip Rod for Stunt Superstar or Prestige level (the icon is shown as a star instead of a helmet…)? And finally one big giant surprise reward for completing all six.
Update to Forzathon Shop Cost. They have drawn a Supply and Demand curve. This indicates the Price, Quantity, Supply and Demand effect on obtaining Market Equilibrium. They may be trying to update how to price Forzathon Shop items based on the demand for an item and the supply of said item (quantity available in game).
There were also other images that may point to things: A flatbed truck on the desktop wallpaper (maybe released in addition to the Trak-Tor), a drawing of a race route with 4 checkpoints and a straight line indicating possible duration of the event (or maybe its like some kind of quadatholon event: 1 road race, 1 dirt race, 1 x-country and 1 drag race where you get to select a different vehicle for each), some Sony headphones (poor marketing, should have been xbox manufactured headphones…), at least the keyboard was Microsoft ;p
Don’t listen to him ↑
Losing traction and controlling it while cornering is fun, just don’t call it drifting, call it power sliding and enjoy the rewards if it helps.
For me its the best part of the game.
Based on RetroKrystal confirming that only 1 of the 3 deductions is incorrect I would assume my hypothesis on the Forzathon Shop price is the one that is wrong. In previous #TorbenTuesday update hints they have placed many depictions of graphs that were just in there for misleading information. I know for a fact the first hint is correct. The second hint regarding star card rewards just makes a lot of sense to fulfill the wishes of many that “ultra-rare” exclusive cars not be locked behind time-gated content. So by placing two of the rarest cars behind a task a user can attempt to accomplish whenever they want (and in Solo mode), only makes sense. It also keeps the challenge of obtaining these cars somewhat of a challenge (depending on an individuals ability to accomplish the required tasks). It also serves as a marketing tactic as to accomplish the Horizon Story Superstar card it requires Fortune Island AND LEGO Valley be owned and played by users. And for a whiteboard drawing it seems close enough to an 812… but then again it kinda looks like any other Ferrari… just makes the most sense to me to be the 812, so that people stop asking about it over and over again.
I originally thought it looked more like a UFO with really big headlights. But when you put it right next to the Superfast I can definitely see the resemblance. I mean, they both are red… have wheels… Yep, I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. (Unless of course, it’s a LEGO version.)
Is anyone else’s Star Card challenges not completing? I had problems with the PR Stunt tab not syncing although I already 3 starred everything. To work around that I had to set new PB’s in order for it to refresh itself. The Explorer tab was stuck on bonus boards and road discovery, although already completed. When it finally gradually updated on it’s own accord it unlocked the flair but I still cannot select it. I don’t understand what the problem is, but this is annoying.
I also saw the Rip Rod, thats the last car I need and my collection we complete after I get the Rimac of course. I have a 812 and 2 shakers which I dont use
