See, gran turismos model is about 15 months old. Whereas forzas model is a 15 year old model that theyve upscaled 3 times meow as theyve ported it from xbox, to x360, to xbone, to xseries

At a first glance, 5th photo, fm looks a bit better imo.

I’d be interested to know how many people actually care. Not a knock against you, OP. If that’s what you want out of the game, that’s your business.
Personally, I couldn’t care less about photographic realism. There is no end to that road. No matter how good it is, you’ll always be able to point out something that isn’t quite right. It’s just a depressing way to play video games.
If they switched today to FM1 graphics but had a giant step in gameplay features and innovative design, I’d be first in line to plop down money. But maybe I’m in the minority.
It’s right for each person to think differently, I play Forza Motorsport 2, and I care a lot about this game, it’s important that the developers don’t sell me poor products that I purchased with my own money, and that in their advertising showed that it was the definitive game as a sim-arcade, with beautiful graphics (in advertising) so as you get praise you also get criticism
