Freeroam sure, why not. Although I will probably need to change my house. Currently I’m using player house in Mulegé and there is no “garage”. You basically build your car outside, so at night I can’t paint or tell how good rims look on a car.
But bigger issue for me are races/Eliminator. I assume races will go back to normal settings, but Eliminator is connected with day/night cycle and for me it is almost unplayable in night setting.
I’m not really surprised that “Yes” currently have more votes, since there was poll not so long ago on reddit with question “what do you do in FH5” and majority said “freeroam driving”.

Speaking of extended night time… I would just prefer a more realistic variant - time of day depending on time of year. That is, short nights at summer, long nights at winter, and something average at spring and autumn.

You’re absolutely right. Until I flipped to the end, I thought I had to answer each question. Many of these will be skewed.
If you are going to make the case to keep extended night time – at least be logical and make the “paint your car” section always go to a “paintshop,” not try to eyeball the car at night.

The night feature works badly in the eliminator, it’s really hard to see the purple clouds of car drops at night.
Well, the poll is sitting at around an 8, so yeah, you’re right
I personally would like to see night-time extended to match how long its day-time.

Quick FYI for anyone who questions “realism” in Horizon and wants to avoid self-pwning:
One of the core and undeniable reasons Horizon has been successful is because of their focus on a realistic experience in the vast majority of its characteristics and details. Of course there has to be some ‘unrealistic’ aspects to provide fun, game mechanics and balance.
PGG/Turn10 deserve massive credit for what they’ve pulled off in Horizon. However, If they don’t maintain an approach rooted in a realistic experience, they will lose their market to other franchises who better understand. I hope they don’t, because I’m heavily invested in the Forza franchise.
If they were to more permanently modify night-length, @Jetsprint_Racer has some reasonable thinking…

Yikes. I hope you guys are taking into account that it only takes one influencer to easily manipulate the outcome of polls like this… and that’s just one of many points that could easily and readily discredit their results.

Instead of asking, might the stats show an answer:
How many players stay in freeroam during night time vs. Daytime?
Do players leave the game more often during night time after finishing upgrades, AH, … etc.
Do players use fast travel more often during night time?
Also, you migh look at the sandstorm and see if players continue drifting on the roundabout, storm affected drift zones, and freeroam drag racing in the festival site.

I feel forza should do more races rhat event labs dont get me wrong, eventlabs more fun but more races to bank points is much more fun racing
That’s true for any Poll though, influencers are manipulative by nature (the name says it), there’s always going to be a skew in the polls, but they are trying to make the poll representative of the community at large

The Anti-lag, definitely is a good addition and I’m happy that it’s here, however I don’t think the sound is accurate enough. It personally seems too soft, almost as if it had some sort of muffling on top of it, giving it a sharper, more agressive sound would be a great fix.

I like the fact that more street and daily cares are being added, i know lot of people likes exotic cars but the cars i like to play more are daily cars and econoboxes
