As usual, I don’t do the Single Player content (AI can’t match the dynamism of a human opponent) so no opinion on those.
My Club was primarily in slower Featured Multiplayer series this month, where the racing was generally quite good. Specifically we raced in:
- Ginetta G40 Junior Spotlight
- Mazda Miata Spec
- D-Class Open
- C-Class Open (tonight)
My one concern was the scheduling, as noted here:
Tyre wear multiplier in Private Multiplayer is an excellent addition, but more needs to be done for Private Multiplayer racing to be viable:
- Ability to apply and limit players to Spec Series builds
- Ability to lock all drivers to the same car/tune as the host (or for players to “borrow leader’s car” like in Horizon)
- Ability to host practice and qualifying
- Ability to set rolling starts
Agreed, the Ginetta is an excellent addition and that Spotlight Series was a ton of fun.
“Slow racing” can be great in Forza as the racing tends to be cleaner.
