[POLL] Should any remodeled cars appear in Forza Motorsport?

We don’t know if it will even exist.

It will at some point because it’s all about making money. Might be a very long time or could be sooner than thought if other racing games come out that everybody decides are better, AC2 maybe, GT8 in a few years, Test Drive Solar.

It’s going to come down to a numbers game

AC2 I think has already been confirmed, GT8 will definitely be a thing sooner than later, TDSC will most likely be a flop.
Seriously, if T10 didn’t get rid of the number from FM8 I’d have more hope of seeing improvement at least in the future. Now I can’t help but think the series is basically dead, yet so easy to revive.

I said something similar in a different post, but man would it suck for FM23 to not get the refreshed models. They announced this stuff less than a year after FM23 releases (supposedly the “long term” FM) and say it likely won’t make it into the game because the game is already out? C’mon… Yet another circumstance where Forza Motorsport has gotten the short end of the stick.

Forza Motorsport players got the short end of the stick.

And yet another open admission that these cars were not “bUiLt FrOm ThE gRoUnD uP.”

They’ll re-sell the same cars yet again, and I won’t be surprised if they act like they’re heroes for finally updating them… and I won’t be surprised if the “aRmY oF tEsTeRs” quickly finds lots of obvious flaws that will take more months/years to fix.

Speaking of remodeled cars, I usuallly don’t customize my cars often as I kept most or all of them in stock. So I’m definitely ok if the custom body parts and community vinyls are deleted because they are also aligned with the inaccurate models.

That “Online-only” killed the TDU spirit. They’re following The Crew’s footsteps. I remember the days playing TDU2, back when that one and TDU1 have offline access.

With Update 9, Rival lap times on Laguna Seca and the Nordschleife set before the content update dropped have been deleted. This change was made because of Nurburgring curb updates. I myself am very glad to see that, because it shows that modeling changes can be made within a game’s life without destroying everything around it. It really is as simple as deleting files! Now to do it for car models

TDU originally required an online profile to interact with other players.

That was only times though, times are much simpler and much more innocuous to wipe than tunes and liveries

I really hope Turn10 sees this thread.

Reminder: we’re looking at the Suggestions Hub and upvoted topics in Car Modeling with the tag fh-Car-Modeling

One thing about this poll/topic that the individual car modeling topics don’t really show is the way players would like to see these fixed models implemented. That’s why I made it

Maybe just make a new topic and copypaste the data there? Seems like a happy medium. This topic could still be here, while that topic gets votes, and once in a while the data from the polls here gets put on the new topic.

Looking at or taking action from?

Looking lightly through? Actually just about every car in FM needs remodeling to some extent. Some more than others.

Other: tuning and building the car is the easy part, just do the right thing and make it right in the game. Better yet do it right the first time so we’re not here doing this. Need better quality control.

You should look at the credits and see who makes the cars.

I have no interest in this game after they want to silence me for reporting game bugs.

Either that or post 3 topics for 150-200 days straight to cover every car. What a joke, grouping cars together by issue should not be a problem.
