Today I started a 6 lap Goliath race. Which took around an hour to get to the end. I ended up using a McLaren senna. I ended being a couple laps a head of everyone else because they were in bmw 88 fes. I wanted to wait so they didn’t dnf. So I thought by driving against the wall it wouldn’t kick me. To the party I was in I literally said I’m going to mute my mic and watch a quick YouTube video. Less then ten seconds without releazing and looking up too late to notice the game kicked me. An whole hour for nothing. Because I was trying to be nice. The timer is way to short and hopefully extended to longer or possibly to turn off. I wasn’t even 30 seconds. They should at least reward you with something. It’s completely unfair.
Working as intended. You don’t need to wait for them, they’ll get the exact same amount of xp.

Horizon is casual finishing the race is what counts not by how fast you finish it.
its not meant to be competitive like motorsports where people try hard to finish 1st every race
