I know there are a lot of folks out there who like Eliminator. I’m totally onboard if Playground wants to include the mode, but it would be really nice if wins didn’t block people from the platinum trophy. I have over a hundred hours in the game, and this trophy is all that stands in my way. In my thirty-plus runs, I’ve gotten real close a few times. But - for me - it really sours the overall experience each time I think the struggle is finally over in that last circle as my level 6 truck gets passed up by a level 10 Hoonigan.
Suggestions:
- Include them as DLC achievements/trophies
- Change it to “play Eliminator five times”
- Hell, even “reach the top ten once” would be fine.
All this complaining aside, I’m really excited for this game.

Respectfully we don’t need that mode . That’s what made fh5 map so terrible, plus Xbox one holding it back …

No, the game’s map is empty because of the Xbox ONE. I personally experienced the release on the Xbox ONE FAT.
Forza Horizon 4 had a lot of mountains and hills that hid the unloaded chunks, but Forza Horizon 5 doesn’t do that. Ultimately, they killed two birds with one stone: the map is suitable for the mode and plays on the Xbox ONE. And I’ll remind you that on the ONE S and ONE FAT, as an optimization, the driver animation has a reduced frame rate when playing in third-person.
If the condition for obtaining the achievement was “participated,” I have no objection to including it as an achievement.
But, I sincerely wish they would stop requiring “winning.” I have no intention of obtaining an achievement if it means being disliked by other players.
