Maybe for Forza Horizon 5

Let’s talk wheels. We love the choices, the styles and sizes…and of course all the different brands we can use to make our favorite cars unique. Except, they are all just there for us, All of them. You just open the setting and choose at will. How about instead of that, you make, us play for them.
How you may ask? You race for the company in a car sponsored by them. PG have already paid the rights to use the logos, let’s use them.

Consider this scenario.

You want to access the BBS rims in the game. To do so, two things happen.

  1. You have to drive a car of PG’s choosing to a destination where you will go to get the paint job done. (adventure aspect of Horizon)
  2. You will then enter your car into a specific race, with all it’s new BBS decals, stripes. Then, you need to place top 3 (or whatever) and then you have access to all the BBS rims.

You could choose a few different companies, all the companies. I think a good start would be to choose 3 major brands that you need to compete for the open their wheel sets. PG can sort out the details. It is not make it hard for the player to access rims for their cars, it is sense of earning, enticing players to get them.

Problem is I am hopeless at racing, so will never get the wheels etc.

However! To make it harder to get wheels paint colours logos, would add a dimension to the game. Pay for them with accumulated Points

Plus with Barn finds, they are discovered too quickly, May be find car components to build the car over time. That could last ages and be more interesting than what happens now.

Replace clothing with tools, Build your garage, so you need the right tools to build the upgrade to your loved car.
