Hey Guys,
there are no new Wheels for Customisation in FH4.
I’m really disappointed about that.
2 Years of development and no new Wheels.
What do you think about that?
And Playground Games ? Do they come via Patch a bit later maybe ?
Is this based off the demo or the full game? If true that’s a little dissappointing but I can overlook it given all the new body kits and tuning options.
I’ve seen some YTers playing the full game and it’s true that there aren’t any new ones. Hopes up that they may at least add the new wheels from FM7 later on…
Guess that T10 and PG kinda shrinked their wheel manufacturer licensing team to a minimum to save costs - who knows
@PascalW94 I’m equally frustrated, if not annoyed, about this lack of wheels. I basically use 5-10 wheels on all of my cars and without the option to color the two-tone wheels, some are also quite unusable in most cases.
Btw, greetings from Germany
For the highly unlikely case that the version that those YTers are playing is somewhat different from the release version, this is in fact the case. -_-
Would’ve loved the BBS Turbofan on some classic BMWs, but nope…
Guys, a demo doesn’t necessarily reflect the final build, so don’t write off new wheel options just yet, and who is to say that youtubers actually have the FULL game with all available features?
I admire your optimism, but why would they hand out a promotional version with a reduced amount of features? Isn’t showing new features kinda the point of this promotion? Seeing this thread, amongst others with similar topics, wouldn’t it rather cause people to get mad at T10 and PG before the game is even released?
As I said before, it’s highly unlikely that those YTers have any sort of a different version, so we probably won’t be seing any new wheels anytime soon…
More features and options in a demo means bigger download size, and to be honest, for a demo, they don’t really need to reveal everything new. The demo is there to get a feel for the new game, not see everything the full version has to offer. From comments I have read, plus my own experience with the demo, it seems to have some odd issues that you really would not expect, such as incorrect engine sounds, AI cars that shouldn’t be there at all (ie. Mitsu’s), handling problems, and a few other details. Demos aren’t always meant to be the equivalent of launch day build versions, and are often earlier builds in a small package. That’s why I am reserving judgment and trying to not make assumptions as to what will and will not be included in the full version.
I’ve seen the same thing in other games like Tomb Raider. They show early release promotional materials, gameplay demos, cutscenes and the like, and people get worked up about issues that see in those things. Then when the game is finally released, they realize those were early build errors that were fixed before release day, and they really had nothing to worry about after all.
Early build errors is different than missing content, though. Yes, demos might not be a bug-free experience (reflected by its WIP disclaimer), but content that could realistically be there to not be? The entire lineup of rims is there (from what I remember), except for the new ones added into FM7. Absolutely not a deal-breaker for me, but I understand some having a bit of disappointment over their newfound favorite rims no longer being an option. Streamers and other reviewers also generally get the full game, not a glorified demo or still a WIP build. The game went gold after all; what you’re seeing now is what you’re getting.
However, these rims may be added in with an update later down the line, so none should lose out on the hope that they may come to the game at all.
I think that’s what were trying to figure out right now, I don’t think its anything too major but it would be odd. You are right though; the game just got updated yesterday and its not even out yet, who knows what else is on the way.
Streamers and select members of the community have the full game already, everything you see in the streams is what you get at release, give or take a few DLCs.
I don’t think Forza has ever released a wheel DLC but I would throw money at them if they ever did. There are soooooo many wheels available these days and we’ve basically the same list for too many years. Not complaining though, it could be worse.
I Agree wholeheartedly!
I represent Bogart Racing Wheels…
I have already sent in an email to the dev team, and am prepared to work with them to implement our wheel designs into the game!
It seems as though there hasn’t been a lot of DEMAND… So Let’s create some!

I don’t want any promo money. I just wanna build my COPO Camaro with the CORRECT Wheels!
Unfortunately I have seen no new rims in the the next installment of the Forza Horizon series, I was really looking forward to having new rims since Motorsport 7 had a great selection of rims. I feel if this form gets enough views Playground games will notice and add the new rims we got this guys.
FH4 rims list (alphabetical - the game groups them by Sport, Multipiece, and Specialized and the sorting might be slightly different
