Maybe I’m alone with this, but I was wondering whether we can expect a physical release for the game as I would like to add it to my collection that way.
I have read the FAQ but can’t seem to find anything regarding a disc release. I would preorder that in a heartbeat.
Are there any sources or ongoing discussions?
Not sure if they make a physical release at all, the entire tariff situation has made it pretty much impossible for developers to produce things overseas and import them into the US and most of physical games are produced in Mexico, so my guess is, if there is a physical version it’s probably EU only or something similar. But considering that software is way easier to market and make prices for, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
I could be totally wrong though.
Tariffs haven’t really impacted the US as much as most people think it has. Besides, games have been gradually shifting towards digital releases only anyways for a while now. Horizon 5 didn’t have a physical copy of the Premium Edition, and it appears Horizon 6 won’t either. It’s just how the gaming industry (and multimedia in general) has been shifting for the last decade.
Pretty useless for a game with monthly updates.
