OK, I know I seem like a major cry baby for such a trifling issue but my shared photos do not have the Forza Horizon 2 logo on them and I need this. I purchased the downloaded version from Microsoft and thought the issue may be related to that version or a setting I’m missing somewhere. I really hope I don’t have to wait for a software patch to fix this and that it’s a server setting somewhere on my MS account. HELP!!!
It seems this is by design, not a glitch. In previous games users requested the ability to take photos without watermarks because they can interfere with the image composition.
I would have loved a toggle ability. I’ve got photo albums on my facebook of each Forza game since 3 (wasn’t on the site during forza 2) And the watermarks were nice for that. Sad they’re gone, but I’ll adapt.
I’m not blaming you personally OP but gutted to hear that next time I fire up FH2 that it’s watermarked. I would have preferred to see a toggle ability but I guess at least swapping the corners is a minor win. Was really enjoying the lack of the watermark. Made artistic shots that much cooler not seeing that it was from a video game.
I was thrilled when there was no watermark and now it’s back. Oh well, what can you do?
Why should he be banned Seps1974? Seems a little harsh for offering his opinion, though I would too like to know why “he needs to have the watermark in the photo”.
Wait, what? I thought it was an automated process. Damn. Why does nobody ever tell me these things?
(P.S: some people like watermarks; most don’t. Also, it’s far easier to add a watermark than to remove one in Photoshop, if you really want it. Can’t say seeing the watermark back despite the overwhelming support from the community of the decision to remove it doesn’t make me mad at Playground Games but oh, well, I digress)
Any way to remove it? I know the latest update added it to the pictures and I believe it said you can pick where it goes, but I haven’t had any luck finding that option.
Personally thought the photos look better without it - guess they looked too good not to have the logo on them.
