This is a sad day for the players of FH2 on XB1. After the newest update, they have added watermarks to in-game photos!

I was surprised that they weren’t in the game to begin with. The photos looked a lot more ‘real’ without them.

Stop and think for a second, why would a company want to place their logo on a product that they created? There is more than one answer to this question, but I bet you can figure out the most obvious reason. I really shouldn’t have to spell it out for you.
Yeah. Try imagine what would happen if the next version of Adobe Photoshop added a watermark on top of every image produced with it and see how ridiculous you statement is.
I am perfectly fine with their logo being on the cover of the game. That’s their product. The photos are MY product. Mine. And releasing a 580mb patch just to deface it makes no sense and is an affront to the community they tout at game shows and then forget about inmediately thereafter.
I must have missed out on the newest edition of Adobe Photoshop that physically takes pictures for you while in Adobeworld. Please tell me more about this revolutionary program.
Because Forza takes the photo for me? I don’t have to imagine, set up and take the shot, using my skills and creativity, right? Oh, god, the time I wasted! Thanks for the revelation. Thank you, good sir!
It does take the photo for you. The average player with no knowledge of photography can literally point and click and have a photo uploaded in 30 seconds. Now’s your turn to tell me how you spend 3 hours on each shot and how the new watermark prevents your creations from ending up in the Louvre.
But they shipped the game without the watermarks, adding them in an update is just stupid…
This is sucky. Without the watermark it adds a whole new look to a photo, some people probably wouldn’t be able to tell if it’s real or not.

Bottom line is the water marks are back. The game and content is their product and they want to put the name on it. No need to argue about it.
