I would love to, but I think we can only see big change on one thing at a time at this point
I feel that this feature (public user created lobbies) appeals to most of the different groups that play forza and I think that it is something
everyone would like to see, some more than others. I also know for a fact that many of the people I play with are deciding whether to purchase this game depending on whether it contains this one feature.
However in a perfect world I would like to see many of those features return too
I want this Forza to be as good as it can be. I want it to reunite players that have since stopped playing because the game no longer features elements of the game that they depended on using.
The Public Custom Lobbies definitely increased the amount I played Forza 4. I branched out more too, joining Tandem Drift lobbies, Street Drags, Track days, etc. Met a ton of cool people that sadly no longer play Forza much because of the lack of custom lobbies. Forza 4 had the best setup with both quick match and custom lobbies. Sad to see it get pushed to the wayside…
I totally agree. I had similar experiences. It is where I met most of my forza friends and most of the forza community. It is what inspired me to try to motivate them to bring this feature back.
I signed the petition with all my heart, this really needs this to happen to the franchise, it is what brought the community together and made us make new friends, also it made it easier to hold tournaments and other types of lobbys. It made us make lobbys the way we wanted them, It is the most wanted feature to come back for the majority of Forza players. It will make the games longjevity longer and will always make the game feel fresh also keep the creativity alive!
Custom public lobbies will only be returning if and when Microsoft makes them possible and an option which Turn 10 can make use of. Turn 10, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft Game Studios, does not get to make the decision on their own and certainly does not have any means of forcing their employer to make the decision.

For the record, Turn 10 are already aware of the demand for the return of custom public lobbies. There have been thousands of posts in hundreds of threads on the subject over the past several years. The last time Dan Greenawalt himself posted on the forums was in a monstrously large thread on the subject of custom public lobbies.
Finally, we do not allow petitions here on the forum and they inevitably are simply a variation on a personalized wish list and we have dedicated threads for wish lists.
