Hello everyone!
Although I have an old Xbox One, I’ve always been able to play Forza Horizon 5 quite well on it. Since the neon update and rally update, however, it no longer runs smoothly at 30fps as usual.
Game performance has degraded significantly and some weekly challenges (Event Lab) can only be played in slow motion. Has anyone of the developers tested this?
I would be happy if the game would run with the usual performance again, because it worked very well!

Don’t think the devs can fix the lack of oomph from the base x1. Given event labs are user generated it’s probably going to be hit and miss which ones will not cause your x1 to fall over

The Event Lab events are still only playable in slow motion unfortunately. I suspect that you won’t be able to do much with the numerous light effects. If this could be changed in future I would be very happy!
@eddy_mx can you confirm if this is still happening with EventLab events, and if so could you provide some share codes for investigation.

The Eventlab-events during the ‘neon light’-events were unplayable, the performance was extremely poor and felt well below 20fps and that consistently. These events were not available.
What is also quite annoying: The delayed reaction in the main menu after opening. I always have to wait a few seconds before I can navigate through the menu and I have the game on a USB-SSD. In Forza Horizon 4 is everything quick and responsible.
While on XSX the custom event labs all run smoothly (and ever did) - I can confirm that the main menu reaction time degraded significantly since the neon update on XSX as well.
When I read this post it does not feel such bad as described on XONE but it is annoying to always have to wait a second now until the next button press is accepted after opening the main menu.
XONE may be older but I am always hearing Microsoft touting how fast a console XSX is.
I am sure this can be done much better on both.
