PC Windows 11 App: How I fixed my slow loading / streaming errors (It was AV)

I was getting super long loading times and I could not figure out why. I thought it was AV and put an exception in my AV software to not scan the folder in c:\program files\windowsapps\Microsoft.624F8B84B80_3.405.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe however the game was still loading horridly. Finally I just disabled my AV and it started working like normal. A little bit of digging in my log files and it showed that the AV was seeing the games as \.\Volume{538a6a1f-4dc8-6248-5b5f-13c49b28a56a}</mark> I put in an exception for that volume folder and a second exception for the same folder with the .exe as well. Once I did that, the game started working properly. Now that the game folder is properly whitelisted I can play the game with no issues. If you need to find the right “Volume” folder to whitelist, one method an nvidia user can use is to use the geforce experience game streaming to record a 5 second clip. Then the resulting video will be a in a folder named the same as the volume name. The logs of your AV might have the same information as well but you’ll need to look up where those logs are.

I hope this helps a few people!

well found, boy oh boy am i glad i play on console.
