PC - MS Store: Error Code 0x0 when Launching Game (3910076)

Hello all,

While the team investigates for a solution. these steps should fix the issue you those players with enough C drive space. Please try the following troubleshooting to make sure that your game is installed to the XboxGames folder.

  1. Open the Xbox App
  2. Click Name/Gamertag in the upper left
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Install Options
  5. Make sure the default folder is set to C:XboxGames
  6. Uninstall and reinstall the game and install to the C:XboxGames folder

You can further help the team’s investigation by submitting a ticket at Forza Support with your DxDiag information. Thanks, we’ll let you know when we have a status update on this issue.

Ok, so what if you don’t have enough space in C drive? You can’t play the game anymore? That’s not a suitable solution for everyone. This should be fixed ASAP with a patch not fooling around with installations.

I had so many problems with this s****y game, FH3 and FH4 ran way better.

Tried everything, nothing works, that update broke everything!

They need to release a fix for it !

Moving the game worked for me. However first time it wouldn’t let me move it saying not enough space. I had to uninstall several other games to make space. Not ideal but I’m back playing. The moving process took about 90 minutes.

Correct.
Yesterday changed C:\XboxGames to E:\XboxGames into the app then closed it.
Opened it few minutes later and discovered C:\XboxGames as default directory…
(note to myself: starting now, check the app settings after each game update (loss of time but recommended))

It is not fin working! I have never dealt with a more troublesome game. A game that is repeatedly relying on the problem solution skills of the customers since day 1 on release! In my case this ist the third time since release, that I and a lot of other people are facing issues with Forza Horizon 5. We just want to relax and reduce stress after a long day or week man.

Halo Infinite had sililar problem 3 times so far the game broke after update and i couldnt play it for 3 months+

My first experience with the game. Totally broken. Windows 11, Ryzen 7 5700g, graphics card AMD rx 6600xt and the game after 3 installations just get stuck on splash screen endlessly.

Nope, my copy of the game was installed to C: drive. In the past I had tried moving it to my D: drive, but always ran into issues so I just let it live where it clearly wanted to be.

Im guessing this is something they havent talked about online on any social media platforms?

xsx consoles, it feels like im using something 25 years old when trying to load up this game.

I had the same thing this morning, I moved mine to a different drive then moved back to C. After that it was installed in XBOX Games folder and now works.! Thanks to whoever suggested that :slight_smile:

Fully agree. This is why I expect my games to be installed elsewhere than on C:

My Rally expansion has been correctly installed on E: (checked before moving the game via App).
I’ve just had a look on C:\XboxGames (supposed to be empty) and found all DLC of SnowRunner (…?.. the game is on E:) :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
Last FH5 update pointed out this issue.

Why are you quiet on social media regarding this ? Usually there is a post that a fix is on the way, not this time …, I’m not going to move anything on my already full drive, if that’s the case then I’m done with the game

Question to people that was able to start the game → Do you have anyone in your online session? Are you able to join Trial/Tour/Open/whatever online activity?
I’ve not played since my succesful moving of the game and just now realized that I don’t have anyone in the session and can’t join any online activity. I can see Trial countdown and what next session for Tour is. I can also download tunes.
After queuing to the Trial I get this message:

EDIT: Few people showed up in freeroam. So I decided to try Horizon Open one more time and now it found session rather quickly. Let’s try Trial.
EDIT2: No, Trial still doesn’t work. @T10ManteoMax send help :upside_down_face:
EDIT3: and after another 3 or 4 tries it finally allowed me to join Trial. But still, please find fix :wink:

No issues for me: made Trial and Tour. Can also see other players in freeroam.

I understand that, what i meant to say is to do a social media post to let people know that they are aware of the issue, not everyone spends time on game forums to find some partial fix

For me there are no fixes i tryed everything from everywhere i just have to wait for a patch

What troubles me is if they do a patch to solve the issue, if people have managed to fix it by moving back and forth, will it stuff up those people? At the moment, anything is plausible.

It’s been all over the place. When I first played the game after moving it between drives, I was able to see other players in free roam and do an HA, but I then started being told I’d been disconnected.

I had a fallback playlist yesterday, but things were back to normal after I restarted the game.

It took me a couple of attempts to join the Trial from which I was being kicked without a message saying I was unable to join the session, and Llanuras was extremely laggy.

When I tried to do Rivals, I got several server connection error messages. I had to do Herencia twice because it didn’t register the first time.

It took a couple of attempts to join the Eliminator, but that’s nothing new.

At most I’d say the game “works” and that’s it.
