I’m making this post to voice my concern about having to pay 10,000 to get my own car delivered to me. I think it is stupid that I have to pay 10,000 to get into my own car. I understand that going to a festival and changing cars is free but it’s a lot of effort if I am just trying to drag race or drift with my friends. I have spent over 3 million in switching my cars and I don’t see why we have to pay to get into and use our own cars. Post opinions below, hopefully the Horizon team see’s this and makes a change or something.
Then don’t do it. I’ve never paid to get my car delivered, I’ve either driven to the nearest festival or once all the fast travel boards were done it was instant and free anyway.
I like the way it is with the fast travel boards. In fact it is perfect IMHO and this is why :
Yes 10K is a bit steep when you start playing the game, but it also encourages you to explore the world either by driving around and finding the fast travel boards so that the cost decreases,or else by driving around the map to various events instead of warping around (which is a bit unrealistic as well and takes away from the initial immersion).
After a while when you have explored most of the map several times, the cost becomes really cheap and you can fast travel very cheap or even without cost.
I have personally not even spent 1 credit on fast travel and I’m proud of it. I always drove around the map from event to event which was fun. When I was at 43/50 fast travel boards or so I looked up which ones I was missing and got all those before using my first ever FH3 fast travel and straight at the cost of 0 credits.
When in where drags are at car meet you are able to change cars.
Most people just don’t swap in and out of the cars in real life. Fast travel swap cars. It takes about the same time and is free if you get all boards and have perk and even if not free it’s way cheaper then 10k
Not sure why they have that feature , goes right up there with paying to have barn find restored.
No way I would have spent 3mil credits in traveling.
Looks like the studio is taking a page from EA and Real Racing 3 where the dilatory tactic of extended deliveries pander to the I-want-it-all-and-now mindset of most folks. The studio should stay away from this kind of pandering IMO!!!
How do you have a car delivered? I don’t think I have ever done it and this is the first time I have ever heard of it. The only time I fast travel is when I am getting off for the night and am not close to a festival, I will travel there enter the festival and then quit.
Enter your my cars list and pick a car it’s really easy and slightly convenient. I see the point for your complaining op, but honestly the only time to use it that makes sense to me (or the only time I use it rather) is if you’re only cruising with a group and want to switch. But even that doesn’t happen a lot cause most cruises end up at a festival for people to switch. I make the 10k back so quick versus how often I use it it’s never really bothered me.
