Hey guys…
I saved up 5 perks points for the fast travel anywhere and it still costs me 7600 cr per fast travel…
Does anyone know is this supposed to still cost credits?

I’m guessing we have to get all of the travel discount boards smashed right?
it just says anywhere not without price ;3
Prior to having the Perk you should only be able to Fast Travel to the Festival Hub. After buying the Perk you should be able to Fast Travel to wherever you can place your GPS marker, but it will cost credits. The cost will decrease as you smash more fast travel bonus boards.

I’ve never understood the point of ‘fast travel’. This is a game that is primarily about driving - right?

traveling is annoying when you need to go to one end of the map for that road you need discovered, sign that needs to be damage, taking a picture at that one epic spot., barn finds, garage/autoshows. It is convenient to start the fast travel, run to the rest room do your thing and come back to know you just traveled X miles !
Use your imagination and imagine player types other than yourself. You’ve got a couple more minutes to get one last event in. You’re on one side of the map and you need to get to the other, and you’re in a stock D101 Beetle. Good luck getting anything done in your time limit. Or maybe you’re a photographer (vital to the whole appreciation of exotic cars we’d never get to see in person) and you don’t want to drive, you just want to get to the location quickly to get in as many photos as possible in a limited time. Etc etc.

I guess that makes sense, and I never saw things from that point of view since I never play the game like that. I just let things take the time it takes. Maybe I’m fortunate to be able to do it that way.

Last night I unlocked all 25 perks. But when I check the progress area, it shows only 24 of 25 perks unlocked. And when I am on the map and want to fast travel to a location, it is still charging me. Even though the fast travel perk is supposed to be unlocked. Or is that how fast travel works? That to use it you will always get charged? Either way though it should be showing 25/25 perks unlocked in the progress area. When I go to the perks section, that shows 25/25 perks. But the progress area is wrong.
the fast travel PERK is only to allow you to fast travel to ANY location, its not ment to make it free. Before the perk your only able to fast travel to the hub. If you get all the fast travel signs it becomes free

To fast travel for free you must find and smash all the Fast travel Boards. Read the perk, it does not state you can fast travel for free, it simply states you can fast travel anywhere./

Also if you’ll notice, the cost to fast travel goes down as you smash more boards. I used it a couple times to go to town hubs early on and before getting the travel anywhere perk and was paying 4-5000 credits, now I’m down to about 2000 but can go anywhere on the map. My opinion? I think this was a brilliant idea.

It looks like the base cost of fast travelling is 10,000cr. Each discount sign board you smash appears to net you a 2% discount, so once you smash all 50 discount sings fast travel should be free.
It is free once all the boards are found/smashed…

You have to smash all 50 Fast Travel Boards so that fast travel costs 0cr
