Paint/Designs Not Saving?

Recently, FH2 hasn’t been letting me save any kind of paint or decals on my cars. When I say this, I don’t mean from the market. If I buy a new car and try putting some other color on it, rather than keeping it in its original stock purchase color, the game says there are too many saves. Even if I delete designs I have marketed and saved to the design folder, it says there’s too many when I return to the game after turning it off. Is this a problem with anyone else?

That’s knowing issue, some says that there is 300 slots for desings. Anyway I do have more then 300 cars with saved desings (my owns).

What you should do first and it may take time, but would be worthwhile, is that you go through “my desings” in game and delete all duplications.
Game like to create “forza desing” file, even when you have give name for your desing. So you could have double savings from same desing you have made, one which you have name by yourself and another named “forza desing”. You should check and make sure you delete right one, most likely your named one would be latest, but not always. If “forza desing” is latest, just name it and delete your named duplication.

These duplications could be anywhere in “my desings”, latest first, older last, so orginal could be in last part of your desings and updated one from same car desing in first part.
Then, after you have delete all duplications, pick your best desings and start give them names. I do not know how far this helps, but as I said I do have more then 300 saved desings and 20-30 of them I have named, mostly ones which I have share, but lately (after starting get this same message) I have name all my own desings, which I like more.

Good luck.

That’s what I ended up doing  thanks for the help though

You also have a limited number of save slots for both tunes and designs.

Anytime you change anything on the car that is not 100% stock manufacturer color, it saves it as a design. That means you use a special color, you change the color of the wheels, you tint the windows - even if you haven’t applied any decals - then it saves as a new design.

If you apply a tune to a car, you don’t have to save it, so you can have a tune on a car without creating a new file. This isn’t the case with paints so if you find you have too many paint files, go through and look for all he cool paints you want to keep and keep them; then delete all the single, solid color, black wheel designs from cars you don’t use often.
