I bought the Vip and Car Pass before the October Pack came out, installed both, but when I
go to October Pack it wants me to pay for it. Any ideas? contacted support and no help
You have to go to the store to download the pack. If you try to do it in game it will try to charge you again. Silly if you ask me. Also you must download the free car separately,
if you have the car pass you just have to go to buy cars and they are in the free tab
they are automatically put there with the update
it worked this way with Horizon 2 as well
That didn’t happen for me. I had the same issue as the OP. Its just an extra unnecessary step. Oh well, at least we got that Limo!
I hard reset after any update or game install …and never get these problems

Same here spent half of yesterday with Xbox Support Twitter (joke) didn’t do anything, then over an hour with Chat, nothing blamed it on Turn 10 which may be
true, now that I see others are having same problems. After chat, I went into Forza Hub and it was the only place I could get to the October pack that wasn’t going to
charge me. It installed but the only car that shows up in the FREE section is the Infinity Q60. I have tried hard resets, uninstalling, installing, going to xbox.com, through
Forza Hub, this is ridiculous to spend over $100 on a game that is basically the same as 4 and 5, and its cannot do a simple task of putting the cars you paid for into your
garage, so you can just start a game and play as you like.
So tried the HARD RESET and still shows that I purchased the Logitech pack but only has 1 FREE car to download and that is the Infinity. TURN 10 needs to fix this, doesn’t look like I’m the only one with this problem.
Is anybody else still having this problem? I have tried HARD RESETs, chatted with customer service, uninstalled and reinstalled the CAR PASS and LOGITECH pack, still only one FREE car shows up,
this is getting ridiculous M$ and TURN10, please fix.
I too was ‘initially’ concerned re the above issue of not having the cars show up in the Free column, aside from the Infinity, which I downloaded immediately.
I went to the Storefront and clicked the purchase tab, it then automatically announced the pac had been acquired, without the need to continue with the ‘actual’ purchase.
Went back to the Buy Cars and there were all the October pac cars awaiting to be downloaded. Including the Infinity, once more.
After downloading all of the pac, I downloaded the Inifity once more, but only one car actually downloaded.
Certainly an odd way of retrieving goods one has previously purchased, but it wasn’t that bad, as with any purchase, you have the option to bail out if you’re uncertain.
It seems one needs to activate the pac, which then places the relevant cars in the free column.
I’m sure as time goes on, Turn10 will make it a little easier.
However, I’m a bit bemused as to why in gods green earth that Turn10 needed to give us a damn Limo in a racing game?..
If you have the Car Pass, the DLC should come to you - you don’t need to attempt to purchase it. If you haven’t received the proper game update from last Tuesday, you’re out of sync with the game itself.
Try doing a system reset (hard boot) as below:
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself.
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack).
4 – Reconnect the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.
If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still retaining “old” stuff and not resetting.
After the hard console reset, sign into Xbox Live and start the game. If there are any downloads first, completely let them finish before starting to play despite the “Ready to play” screen. I normally, once the downloads are finished, sign out of Live and do another full hard reset to make sure everything is aligned properly.

I know it’s a long shot but thought I’d mention this possibility. DLC packs only give the license holder the free cars, anyone else on that home console only has the opportunity to buy.
Are you the only player on this console or is it possible the DLC license is on another player’s account? I recall a forum post from FM5 user whose significant other walked in front of the Kinect while he was entering his 25 digit VIP code. It logged her in and gave her the VIP license; he had to go through support.xbox.com to get the VIP license switched back to his Gamertag.

If your account shows you purchased the car pass you should be able to download it again with no charge. Uninstall the car pass and/or Logitech pack from your hard drive, then go to the marketplace in FM6 and download them again (it shouldn’t cost anything). The license should install under your gamertag and you should be set.
You’ve doubtless noted a lot of “shoulds” in the above procedure. I’ve done this before (the old VIP workaround) with success, but I’m not an authoritative source (i.e., if this blows up your game, stating ‘GandalfWhite659 told me to’ guarantees nothing). I suggest verifying the procedure through support.xbox.com, who have always been helpful the few times I’ve needed help.
I am facing with the same issue, I tried the whole recommendations which been discussed with no successful, Forza need to solve this issue with a quick update to those who are many am sure they are facing the same issue since this error seems common to most.
I agree I think there are many more than are reporting it. In the meantime I have switched to Project Cars, not a bad game, at least the racing is more realistic.
I thought for sure this would have been resolved by now. People have paid for the car pass and it’s been about 2 weeks now, STILL NO CARS AVAILABLE FOR FREE! At this time, I thin Car Pass customers that haven’t received their cars yet need more than just the cars. Turn 10 needs to be coughing up some compensation of some kind. Partial refund? Microsoft gift card? This needs to be fixed now.

Have you done a proper hard reset like snowowl has instructed. …including removing the power supply until the light goes off…most people seem to not do this but still complain
What did you guys do on the previous versions ofthe game when you still had to use ingame (free) credits to buy ALL cars
Tried every suggestion made on here and none of them work, wondering and waiting to see how next months will work or not, then might try and get them on CHAT again, even though they didn’t do anything too help.
