I personally race with manual transmission and manual/clutch transmission and even if I have a loud car like the hellcat or the Ferrari italia speciale, the sounds coming from the the opponants cars completely drown out my cars sound even in the chase camera views, this makes it almost impossible to hear your cars engine when there are opponents nearby making it difficult to shift gears properly w/o having to watch the tachometer, eyes should be on the road not on the tach. don’t get me wrong I love the fact that you can now hear your opponents cars roaring by but it seams like its way too loud in relation to your car. you should be able to hear your car over the opponents cars not the other way around. I may be mistaking this for another game but I thought forza 4 or 3 had this option in the audio options so you can adjust the volume of your car compared to opponents cars. please this option needs to be brought back.

Absolutely agree. I race from drivers view and the opponents over sound my car? Would understand this effect if racing from top, behind the car, but even in drivers seat?

There is another thread about 6 or 7 pages talking only about this. It should have been posted on that thread. I do however totally agree with you and I have stated that on the other thread.
