Online Multi-player Needs Cleaning Up - Too Many Game Crashes, Races Not Loading

Hi all,

Xbox Series X btw.

I am finding too many loading issues with online multi-player. You can practice, qualify then wait for race only for it either not to load in a suitable time or quit to dashboard.

I was waiting 10 minutes after the intermission and all but me and one other chap waiting it out. It eventually loaded and we had a 2 car race. But this should not be happening.

Some races load ok but it feels like a flip of the coin right now.

Throw that in the mix with buying cars not applying and saving then dashboarding you. Bit of a mess really right now.

The only saving grace is that there is mega potential.

Please fix Turn10/Microsoft.

I think the cloud server is doing something dumb like asking for authentication every second packet.
One drop and we are done.
Also explains the career progression thing.
I am NZ, and cable-sharks attack our cables to singapore and us regularly.

Would explain much.

I’ve tried everything and every single multiplayer crashes since Friday. I have tried updating drivers, resetting everything and still same result. Solo play is fine but something is definitely wrong with the latest update.

This really does need fixing. Spending 20 minutes doing a practice and qualifying session only for race to hang or dashboard you. :worried:

they explain that cpu needs to be running at recommended 3.7ghz for the game to run smooth. anything lower than that. for every pc that is running below that trying to enter a race/online match, even offline its stalling from the required speed to run the game smooth. causing disconnects and stalled lobbies. there are work arounds to boost your cpu to those speeds. it takes a simple registry edit to increase cpu % so performance is well above 3.7. task manager performance tab will show what your pc is running at even before you launch the game. if its below the 3.7 mark. that is why your game is stalling on load screens and online matches.

I’m writing angrily because I just got a crash while entering the pit stop, after 20 minutes of practice and 15 minutes of the race. Today, within about 15 minutes, the game kicked me out three times. Twice while trying to join the races and once the game froze when I was tuning the car. Please do something about it.

I’ve also been having problems on Series X since this weekend.
The game crashes very often in multiplayer, direct back to the home page while I have done 25 minutes of practice and qualifying, on the crash starting grid… The game also freezes/bugs/crashes a lot in single-player, infinite loading

…

Had my game never load the race twice today after qualifying top 3, such a shame.

60% of online races disconnected from server. Or poor connection.
Have never had issues with online games but new Forza a waste of my time even bothering.

Was any testing done before release or just crossed fingers and hoped it would work.

This is definitely just a Forza issue.

Other games are behaving ok and previous Forzas are good.

I think it was Forza 5 or 6 that had the same issue if you were part of the Insider program which they later fixed. It certainty reminds me of that issue.

era uma pista oval onde perto do final da corrida o outro piloto esperou vc chegar perto pra continuar a corrida ? se foi isso essa corrida foi comigo.

I’ll just add that I’ve been having too many connection issues as mentioned in this thread. This past weekend was particularly bad. Definitely needs a patch to fix these issues many of us are having. Saw an update coming tomorrow and the only thing it addresses is hanging in the builders cup when tuning? Really, that’s all you’re fixing? Sheesh!

Stupid game keeps crashing during the qualify/practice area of multiplayer. Its happened 3 or 4 times today. The worst part it happens AFTER you already qualified for the race.

Doing a reinstall but I dont expect it to help anything.

I haven’t had any crashes on console, playing mostly multiplayer - just long delays in loading sometimes. Then I switched to the PC version and the first time I tried multiplayer and start qualifying, the game closed itself. Needless to say this isn’t my PC’s fault, other Forza games don’t do this.

This isn’t good though:

How can you say this game has no multiplayer issues, when there is about a 66% probability that you won’t be able to race…

Practicing or not, most of the times after qualifying, game crashes when you wait in the lobby.

Some days ago there was an issue in the minute before racing when you have to chose tyres and fuel, pressing the X button, it starts loading (what’s loading?) and you stay there for more than a minute. If you have patience to see this mess end up, you are ready to race with another one patient like you…

Game has online multiplayer issues.
No matter what.
If you have not encountered any, you didn’t race that much online, as I do and I know what I’m saying.

Yesterday night: started one race with my Bentley in the promo series, qualified, game crashes in the lobby… I’m quitting the game for a while.

Let’s hope another (24 October had one) hotfix comes ASAP.

Bye.

Unfortunately, the hotfix was for the career mode, not today my friend, not today…

basura. PLEASE, please, PLeASe learn how to read before replying to my post… -_- “i have 3.6 and dont crash” well yeah obvious your like what? .1 off the required ghz to play ofc youre not going to have issues :D… … … … do people re read what they post and what they are responding too? i simply created a reply to help those that are under the required ghz mark to run fm2023 smooth. its even on they website… Last, who said anything about over clocking? i didnt know 100% cpu usage is considered overclocking… good evening basura…

now you are changing your first statement on a matter that has no proof. you said yourself that you cpu is running at 3.6 ghz and you are speaking on behalf of other people? i simply am trying to point people in the correct direction and you are declining it with no proof but instead making assumptions. blaming the game servers for such things when even offline mode is broken too. great logic tho… state facts instead of assumptions in your next topic hopping post

Please, youre relating your facts on basic community knowledge (btw not degrading anyones knowledge) but from a community stand point look how many broken pieces there are within the forum. my post was near/relating to a forza support page and required specs to play the game. I have even read from a community forum that people with required specs , the game is failing. but the topic on cpu and how fast they cpu is performaning is not mentioned. yes they might be able to play at the required specs but have they checked in task manager under performance tab to actually see what its being performed at? you can simply bash my comments all you want. wont take the fact you are simply trying to trash something you couldnt think of to contribute yourself. yet its trash… good luck with assumptions.
