Nurburgring 125 showcase

So I hopped back on today after a sabbatical and decided to run the Nurburgring 125 endurance showcase from the Seeker championship on unbeatable difficulty.

8 laps of the full layout, around an hour to an hour and a half to finish the event.

I pitted on the end of the fourth lap with orange wear on front and rear tires, dropped from fifth to eighth place, no one else has pitted yet. There was about 35% left on the front tires of the civic when I pitted. So I figure ok, they’ll pit in the next two laps and I’ll claw back the lead.

NOPE! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd never even took a pit stop! One of them was a Honda Civic like mine! Thanks for wasting over an hour of my time. It doesn’t help that the drivatars ran a 15 second faster lap on the first two laps and the gt3 cars couldn’t even catch up with them but to ice that cake they never ran out of fuel or wore through their tires.

Can I attach my car to the rails the drivatars get to use? I feel like I’m running a marathon in an airport against an Olympic sprinter on a moving sidewalk. I really, really don’t want to repeat the whole event again.

That’s strange.

Didn’t completed the Nurburgring 125 yet but I’ve done lots of races in Free Play on the Nordschleife with 8-10 laps each one, with different car classes to grind money and the AI always pit, even earlier than me usually.

Yeah, finished second. Managed to get enough of a gap to come back out in 3rd after my stop. Was certain the 2 Volvos in front of me would pit eventually. Nope! Managed to fight my way back past 2nd, but 1st was a bridge too far :frowning:

On pro they all pitted at the end of lap 7/ beginning of lap 8. I assume the AI only pits when they are damaged or don’t have enough fuel to make the next lap. I could see the difficulty increase making them more fuel efficient to make it harder to beat them.

I had a similar issue in the Le Mans race, I had to pit for fuel every 5 laps and the lead AI cars could go 11…
