Nurburgring fuel

How many laps are you doing before you have to pit for fuel?

Just tried the endurance race and after 2 laps the fuel gauge had just over a quarter so I thought there just might be enough, ran out just at the end of the final long straight.
Also wish you could pick your own car for these endurance races and not preselected cars as Rossi is way ahead in the BMW M3 GT2 and that car is not available to choose.

Hi,

I’ve done this race twice. First time with a Z4 GT3 and I think I was going one more lap than the opponents. Last race with the Viper I think I only pitted once (4th Lap). I also dislike not to be able to choose the M3 GT2 :frowning:

Yeah I agree on the disappointment in not being able to choose your own car. I wanted to use one of the McLaren GT cars but it only allows that orange one, which is actually slightly different from the other two.

They need to give us fuel mileage as well, AND they need to show each cars stats on the screen where you have to choose one. I got tired of running back and forth from that screen to the buy a car screen looking at and comparing the stats for each one, and then when I did pick one it turned out to be the worst possible one for fuel mileage. Lol.

I understand not being allowed to use mods even, but for God’s sake at least let us tune them before we have to drive them for extended periods of time. Sheesh.

I was going to do the 82 laps round Sebring but not sure if it’s worth the 2+ hours of racing,I know the pay out will be massive but if I get half way through and mess up than it’s just a waist.

I ran the ferrari and was able to get 3 laps before stopping for fuel. The M3 was pitting every 2 laps and I was able to pass on the 4th lap and keep him behind me the rest of the race. I finished 2 seconds ahead at the end.

When I did the Nurburgring 125 I chose the BMW M4 GTR (or whatever it’s called) and tried doing a 414th lap before refueling but ran out of fuel before the first corkscrew.

I have about 3.3 gallons left over after the 3rd lap so I had to pit on the beginning of the 4th and beginning of the 7th, basically every 3 laps.

The car holds 20.0 gallons so that’s like 3 to 4 MPG right? Lol.

I used the Viper and got 4 laps out of it so only one stop was necessary.
