Number of laps in spectator mode

Hey hey, I remember in Forza5 there was a HUD that showed number of laps and positions while in spectator mode. Is this completely gone now? Kinda hard to broadcast races not know what lap the race is on.

It would be nice as spectators to have a bit more information please and thank you Turn 10.
