I have lost everything again… sync isn’t working and I have already tried the hard restart, the delete game, the delete local save files.
With that said heironoumys said at one point he could help those out that lose everything and was hoping that’s still an option. Im not worried about much I would just like to be able to have my in game currency so I can go thru and buy all my cars and buy my parts that I need. I had just shy of $100,000,000 credits. I don’t need that many by any means but it will be expensive buying all of my cars again. I also had the 1977 aston martin vantage and I think some other unicorns but I don’t ever drive them so I cant remember what they were so not to worried. Can somebody get ahold of heironoumys or maybe get me the correct spelling of his name since I have yet to be lucky enough to find it in a random thread I click on.
I have the same problem but I have still not stopped synchronization. The synchronization does not ends ever. The console did reset of factory this morning and wiped out the local content. My save is in the cloud and forza not want to retrieve it.
Mine synced quickly… it just synced a brand new game for some reason and now I have nothing. From past experiences I knew it was going to take a few hours and tries to get it but it just keeps going to the new game which sux. Oh well. Hopefully helios can help me out since that was the correct person I was looking for not Hieronymus1967 lol. PM sent to him after I sent it to the wrong guy lol.
Sounds like you did a sync of the local save. Try Deleting the “local” game save file (NOT the DLC, etc.), do a hard reset of your console, then upon restarting system restart the game and select to sync with The Cloud. If it takes a while to do it, DO NOTHING ELSE on the console and try not to be streaming music or videos on any other networking device. I once spent over seven hours on a sync.
I was hoping this was going to happen since this is the 3rd time it has happened to me but I never got that option to load a old save file this time. Oh well im now a level 11 and working on getting my garage built back up again.
Stop using Microsoft preview builds if you don’t want issues. They always are buggy. Don’t use it for Xbox one or Windows 10, you are taking a chance with your data for no reason.
just had to re-sync all my games thanks to an external hard drive breakdown, what i will say is all my games sync’d in seconds… except forza 5, forza horizon 2 and forza 6, so id say its not the cloud connection at fault but how these game servers are linked to it, so once yet again…THANK YOU TURN 10 FOR YET MORE GREAT QUALITY the games have well earned their nick name “froza”
