I changed the audio settings around (basically just lowered radio volume, and raised car engine sound) and I no longer get the narrator, GPS, or any voices at all. I have checked to make sure the voices are checked on the audio menu. I even restarted the game.
Any ideas?
Try a console reboot by holding down the Xbox One’s power button (not the controller’s) until it turns off completely. Then, restart the console and reload the game.
I have no narrator!! sound levels are up, game lowers volume when theyre suppose to talk but nothing???
im having the same problem ive tried holding down the xbox system button and re launching the game and still get no voice audio???
I only got the voice to work by changing the XB1 sound settings to stereo. Surround sound seems to be the culprit.
Goto you audio settings on your xbox and change it to stereo normalized. That should do it.
but is that going to change the over all sound of the game?
That seemed to fix the Narrator Audio, will this be fixed in a patch anytime soon?
Since I purchased the game a few days again on Xbox One via digital download I have not been able to hear certain sounds and dialogue. I cannot hear voice overs during cut scenes, no radio djs, no GPS navigator. Pretty much anything involving dialogue I can not hear, but I can hear all other game sounds. Now what’s really weird is if I go to Upload and watch clips I’ve made I CAN hear the missing sounds I don’t hear during gameplay. Anyone else have this issue?
And yes, I’ve already checked the sounds in the options menu.
There is definitely a bug in the Bitstream Dolby audio with what should be sound for the center channel coming out of the right speaker which happens on my receiver, TV, and headset. This is the only game/app that has this issue and to me this audio output sound better than DTS or uncompressed so I hope it is resolved soon.
I also had this problem. Switching to stereo fixed it but that is not how i want my sound. I purchased a digital optical audio cable and switched back to surround sound. Fixed all issues and damn the surround sound is so much better

the music are good and clear same as the cars sounds
but when the people inside the game the lady who gives informations and the British dude when he talks he talks on silent with no voice only subtitles… how can i fix it ?
please… hope i can get an update or something

I also have same problem and ithink it started when i put engine sound up and everything else down. i thought it was glitch with game but i put fifa 14 on today and i cant hear the commentators. what the hell is going on. i have bitstream out selected on xbox sound settings. has there been an update which has caused this problem to arise maybe?
Consider yourself lucky? I’d love to ditch Ben and his voice.
