Hi friends… I still play in Xbox 360… with FM4, but there are not new cars or packs… so I feel like like playing a “dead game”
Any plans from Turn 10 Studies for us?

T10 ends nearly all support for their previous game once a new one releases.
New cars and packs usually end about a year after a game is released. I don’t think there was anything new for FM4 since 2012
Still… would be nice if they could update some of the online lobbies and give us some different tracks. I still think it’s a crime that neither Le Mans circuits are in R3 lobbies.
Both Updating a title and making a new game costs money so considering that Forza 4 is a 3 year game now with 2 titles ahead of it Turn 10 is looking forward at new titles over updating older ones
Yes the feeling of a dead game is there but again this is an aged game now and Turn 10 did announce it when DLC for this game was done

Updating a game doesn’t cost money. Microsoft used to charge companies to issue patches and updates through Xbox Live, but they did away with that around the same time the Xbox One came out. To simply change a few of the tracks in the lobbies would cost nothing but a slight bit of time by probably no more than one employee.
Still, I know they won’t update it, nor do I think they should. I was just stating that it would be a nice surprise if they did.
Time is money to a business - and an update takes more time than you would think and MS will require it to be tested, etc before it can be released - which is more time and money.
precisely and not to mention Turn 10 probably has other things going on which they want to focus their efforts on then updating older titles. It’s not such a easy cut and dry process as you may think it is. The last time there was a update with the memory leak issue took months for them to figure out where the problem was and a way to attempt to fix it
I hate to say it but I think Turn 10 is more focused on current titles and future ones then their older titles at this point. If there was an update then we would have seen it by now
Why does it seem like everyone thinks I want an update to this game? I’ve stated twice now that it’s just wishful thinking. I’m not asking for an update, nor am I assuming one will happen. I’ve been gaming since I’m 5 years old, I know how the industry works, and I know that an update will not be coming, no matter how much I would like it to.
I too would like to see some kind of update to the track order in a class. Le Mans and fujimi kaido must of been some kind of criminal offence not to include…
