I would assume drift lobbies will be added on Tues. At least I’m hoping. If not, FM7 is useless to me. MP drift is all I really play. In all seriousness, if T10 have removed drift lobbies, it would be the biggest, worst, dumbest decision for any game, genre, developer; off any console, in history… to make.
Drag racing would be pretty dumb as well to remove. Wow, here I was hoping their would some kind of gymkhana style mode.

You can make player created multiplayer lobbies currently by hosting or joining a “Looking for Group” post in the Game Hub. When in the Multiplayer Hopper Selection Screen, press Y to create a Private Online Session [you will need at least one other person to start one]. Then add people with a “Looking for Group” post. The quickest way to do this while in game is to push the Xbox button, right on the d-pad, go to FM7, push start, go to Game Hub, RB over to Looking for Group. This is a great way to find or set up drift/tandem lobbies.

Also - look for the “forza motorsport 7 drift” club on live to find more drift matches
I added you and have joined the club but I have not found a way to join people’s games through the xbox app one the computer. am i just dumb or is it just not clear how to do it?
It’s hit and miss. Doesn’t always give me a way to join on a person even when they have me added. I play through my pc as well so I know your struggle. But when it does appear it’s on the xbox app in the same place you’d join a party, just at the bottom of their profile (little circle that shows who’s in the game with them the same way it displays party info)

They are a company who designs video games, they have no business trying to figure out what real world implications of some motor sports as they don’t have any idea why some are so important to cultures. I probably won’t buy the game due to them “attempting” to add in things they don’t understand or think they do which is really quite obvious as the game franchise has literally found its way into a septic container after 4. Until they actually start listing to the people who buy the damn games as a general consensus of intelligence gathering to properly replicate a specific type of motor sport in a fashion that appeals to not only real world enthusiasts but more important, the virtual community. We know what should be in the game when it comes to drifting… they have no damn clue, sure you can still create private lobbies but taking out the hoppers for public play, the games dead to a giant portion of players. They won’t listen, they don’t care… doesn’t mean they still won’t attempt to make you think they do even if they do add it down the road a bit, it would still be broke and still a rushed product that shouldn’t exist. Its turning into the COD of racing games just cloning it self and throwing a new number at the end and a few more new things just to help entice you into a purchase to line their pockets with your money. They’d be better off creating Sci-Fi racing games because at least with that you have a reason for why they can’t create proper racing games based off real life racing let alone all the sub-motor sports associated with it. Hopefully drift lobbies will be put into the game on the November 7th update. They better not screw it up either and add restrictions. They have already ruined rivals with rentals.
