To whom it may concern.
System: XBOX One
Game Play Type: Free Play
Track: Daytona (Day and Night)
Cars: Any Forza Edition Special Cars
Situation: I just played three races on Daytona, ‘Free Play’ (30, 25 and 10 laps) with a combination of day and night settings.
At the completion of each race the display shows the winners podium than goes to the Forza dash. My MODS for the game are taken away and NO Credits are given. I won all 3 races and used a combination of Legendary, Super Rare and Rare Mods for these races. I noticed this was happening on other tracks before but I just let it go. Now I am getting zero credits and mods are being expended for task completion.
The Forza Special Cars are the ones I own. I own 651 Cars and have never rented a vehicle for my races. These are the cars that give you special percentages for races and race types.
Due to the Mods that I was using the mode was NOT EASY. ABS OFF, Drivatars set to Above Average, Simulation Damage, Manual shift (on one race), and other tweaks that are of an elevated nature.
Thanks for the response. I attempted to run at Dayton Oval again and the same problem (NO CREDITS). I took the same car to Indianapolis and Homestead and received the proper credits.
Hmm that seems weird. I just did 50 laps on Daytona (tri-oval) and i did receive credits while using the Ford Escort FE. Although i am not surprised if there is a bug, do you have the ability to maybe record it? You might get an actual response than if you can show it to mods/support people here.
Have you tried another FE car? Maybe its a bug with the FE car you are using.
I just ran two more races at Daytona Tri-Oval. One race at 10 laps with the Chevy #24 Nascar. I got the credits for that race. I played it again with same mods, same car and increased to 20 laps and got NO Credits. I posted the video to my XBox Account with the description. So this problem is not just refined to Forza Edition cars but all my inventory.
I also raced a night race in my Ford Escort FE (for the night time bonus) 30 laps at Daytona and got NO Credits.
Does it do the same thing if you click next race and let the new circuit load? Even so it should work, i remember i just quit and got credits. If you really want to make solid evidence, try going to your assist menu just before crossing the finish line so we can see that the assists should not be the culprit and credits should be awarded (i forgot to mention that before, sorry).
Yes, I have tried both, Quiting and going to the next race. I get the same results. My assists can NOT be the problem. The mods very each race… No assist driving line, Breaking line only, ABS On, ABS Off, Simulated Damage on, Manual Steering. I check the Assists prior to running and they reflect the mods used.
I have checked my Credits prior to the race and after. No Change. As you can see by the Video; it was a 20 lap race and went straight to the Forza dash menus with NO Credits. I ran a 10 lap race, with identical car, mods and track with no problem in getting my credits.
Yes, I have my Friction assist on but that has not changed for other races.
I just ran a 20 lap race at VIR Patriot Course at night with my Ford Escort FE. I did Not receive any credits for the race.
Does anyone from TECHNICAL Support read or respond to these posts?
If not I would like a phone number or email address that I can unleash some of my anger driven frustration on them.
I just completed a month’s worth of testing on this glitch.
I set my settings on super easy and ran 20 laps, 15 laps, 10 laps and 5 laps on Suzuka race track. I used 6 different cars (3 Forza Edition special and 3 standard cars). All cars I own. Only one race at 20 laps counted for points. Only 3 races counted at 15 and 10 laps. All six counted on 5 laps.
I ran the same at Daytona oval. All 6 cars failed to register points for 20 or 15 laps. All counted for 10 and 5 laps. I changed the settings to highly skilled (drivatars), Manual steering, shifting, ABS On, and no other assists. I got the exact same results for all 6 cars and other random cars.
I ran the same configuration (Super Easy) at Indianapolis Oval. All 6 cars counted on all laps. I did attempt one 50 lap race and it did Not count.
So, I conclude. It is not the settings, or types of cars.
I thought I had an isolated incident, however, after Googling my problem, I found numerous postings the same or very similar to this.
On another flaw. I have run numerous ‘Rival’ Race challenges and None of these have counted. I have no record of time or challenges completed. I see my ‘Friends’ scores/times but, mine will not register. I also raced the bonus races that promised cars and gear and I did not get these because it is not registering.
So ends my message in the bottle to the Developers of Forza 7.
I wish I would of read about this sooner but I just did finished a 1000 lap race on Daytona oval and got nothing… is there anyone or anyway I can get this fixed cause I did not just run 2500 miles in 11 hours for nothing…
It’s not broken
You have to at least move the controller every lap and not rubber band it
That’s the way it is supposed to be so people dont just rubber band their controller and walk away when they use the super easy settings
Would that only be on timed events
Or others as well
Only time it has affected me so far is only when i used super easy and NEVER moved the controller at all..or hardly at all
It was stated in a previous thread by forza staff that as long as you still actually move the controller you will get credits
And i tested it as well and as long as you move the controller at least a few times EACH lap you still get credits
Its set to deter people from just rubberbanding and walking off allowing the cars to just autodrive for the entire race as some people do
Yes, you’re right, I’ve tested it myself on Daytona oval (steering super easy/shifting automatic/4 laps) and it skipped the post race screen where you would normally receive the credits.
So basicly: don’t cheat and you’ll receive your credits. Awesome!
