I got a GTR black edition in the game. It comes with cool black paint and red strip on front lip and carbon fiber hood. I took it to paint shop painted it white, but it took away the hood and red strip. Now when I go back to paint shop and do paint/decal erase, it just comes out black. No strip or hood. I’m kind of new to the game, so is there I am doing wrong?
Go to paint and click over to the Manufacturer tab, is that initial paint not there?
I did go to manufacture tab and selected the original color, but it comes out all black.
Are you saving the paintjob to the car, or to your design folder?
If it’s the latter, go to “my designs” and apply the paintjob to the car from there.

Did you buy the car with manufacturer paint or did you buy it with a design on it.
I was rewarded the car either from wheel spin or tournament win and it came like that.
I don’t think wheel spin rewards come with premade designs. And what do you mean by tournament win?
Sounds as if the paint that came on the car was done by someone else and locked and once you tried to paint it yourself it erased the design.
Unless you saved it before you tried to paint the car there is no way to get it back.
Thanks for your help everyone. I am an idiot. It was a design I picked when I bought the car. You know how the preload bunch of community designs, I just picked the first one there was. Sorry for any troubles.
