Hey everyone! I’m not one to usually post on a forum but was looking for some help. I’m not a Huge Forza player, but I do enjoy the game. The game itself looks absolutely amazing and plays well. I’m just curious about the A.I. and how they love to play “bumper cars” especially at the first turn of any map. Is there something that I’m doing wrong? I enjoy playing the inside view for a more realistic feel, and I’ll rewind when I feel the need to approach a situation better. It just really takes away from the game when cars are constantly slamming each other until they can break free. I’m just curious thanks for your time!

Its just how the Drivatars/a.i. are. Its like this for everyone.
Not just the drivatars, they seem to be preparing people for online racing lol
Lol True.
Drivatars are known for being, let’s say, care free lol
Welcome to the forums, however
Ick the Drivatars and career, the worst part of FM6! I love the game so don’t get me wrong, but for me its all MP and time trial and private lobbies, arranging tournaments, testing cars etc.
I think the way the game starts is the worst way possible to get a car enthusiast or a sim racer interested, it’s at its most arcade and ‘kiddy’ like when you first put the game on :
assists on, even braking and steering assist (from memory)
the racing line is on
its on chase car view
and the drivatars all over the place.
and it’s set in Rio, which I like the circuit , but once again the initial impression gives it that arcade look.
What kind of introduction is this to someone you just to say persuade someone to buy it for proper online racing and they end up seeing this. One of my friends who has this game just has the first achievement and less than 1 hour time played. Coincidence, not really.
I think the game should start with a more serious introduction asking what direction you want to take this game in, not the jump into Rio race. Same scenario with FM5 at Prague. Once you break away from the initial start, it is quite an adult game, very polished, sensible laid out menu’s, classical music. So having an intro along the same theme would suit it.
As I said don’t get me wrong I love this game and play it more than any other game easily, but I play it my own way, which no doubt everyone does, but it takes time to find what suits you and what you want out of it.
I read somewhere in the forums before (this isn’t the first post on this) that playing offline reigns the chaos in,. Personally if the race starts are too rough with the drivatards I’ll use a ghost or specter mod card to get through turn 1, money is no object in the game, at least when playing with no assists, and max difficulty, and vip doubles winnings as well. Not that it’s needed
