New Route/Track Editor still a mess

Great - now you can save your track and edit it later. So far, so good.

BUT: it is still not possible to edit the route after saving. facepalm you can edit the checkpoints, but only the width of the flags. I CANT MOVE (forward backward) OR ROTATE THEM. facepalm
AND: i still cant do a test drive without leaving the editor completely and create a complete new blueprint. OMG that is a mess and makes the editor still useless, Why dont the devs play their own games? they would instantly see what is worng and fix it. But that morons dont play what they have coded, and so we get one bug/nonsense afte the other. That is a pity and ruins the whole game experience. This is the first game in my whole “gaming career” ( and i grew up with pacman and space invaders  i really hate…really really hate!!! [Mod edit - WSD - Attacking and name calling the developers wont be tolerated]

Playing around with it last night, and it’s better but still not great.

I keep getting “missed checkpoint” warning when going in a straight line between two checkpoint locations.

Placing of assets/decorations is so tedious and slow I’m totally put off by the entire process.

Don’t think I’ll be creating anything with this.

I now understand why i get it when i play the custom map in the weekly. Thanks for the post.
Custom tracks and related should go…boring and buggy.

The bug that prevents me to run multiple laps on a custom route while test driving works fine is still present. What are they even doing?
Back in the trash bin with you, Event Lab.

I’m encountering that one, too. However, it happens only on the first drive after testing. Then I can save it with multiple laps.

Only in editing, the buttons and audio feedback for width/side movement of checkpoints is present but checkpoints don’t move and can’t be altered at all.

Being forced to test drive after each BP change is pure horror with endurance races! Sometimes I just want to set it up so drivertards are using the same or similar cars that I do. They should either get rid of that excessive test drive bs or lift the 5 BP/start point limit.

I just wish it was possible for the EventLab challenges to not send my Xbox One S into infinite load screens.

a few days ago I tried to edit one of my routes to change the racingline because the AI is way to slow …

its just not possible, the only option is to create a new route and this will delete all checkpoints…
but I want to keep the checkpoints, I only need a new raceline.
For me it is not possible to create a good raceline while placing checkpoints. While driving through a corner to hit the checkpointbutton even with slow speed destroys the steeringangle and after placing the checkpoint when continue driving the steeringangle for this corner and the racingline is messed up…

making a route should be two steps
first: placing checkpoints
second: set a few fast laps and choosing one as raceline
