New Leagues: P998 Endurance Prototypes | B600 Ghosts (SUV) | B600 Porsche Classics | Lambo Wk2

I felt the same way in the Cadillac. On some tracks it was very competitive, on others not so much. I went back to tweaking random cars from manufacturers I don’t have max affinity in and running the hoppers. I prefer a setting that promotes diversity on the grid, or at least one that doesn’t suggest that I should spend money if I want to compete.

I do like the current league setup.

The Ghost Sport Utility lobby with sim damage is fun. A conservative driver who tries to stay out of trouble can do well when others screw up.
The Endurance Proto League is a mixed bag. I like the longer races and the sim damage. But unfortunately the carnage in the first lap is still there. The latest result for me was on Rd Atlanta (with an initial grid of 17) and even though I snaked myself cleanly through the mess at the start due to 2 drivers sitting I was taken out by another driver who literally punted me into the wall while using me as his brake at turn 1. I exited because my car was toast. I did have a good time the night before when there were 4-8 drivers who knew what they were doing.

Why in the world is this called “Endurance?” 5-8 laps, depending on track is not endurance racing. These races should be a minimum of 12-15 laps. What is the point of having tire wear and fuel consumption if it is never used?? So how about a real endurance league where at least one pit stop is required, advanced sign up is required, maybe a once a week race over a 2 month period for overall points. Other than that, your “endurance” is a freaking joke.

Sounds like you should sign up for TORA or any other site out there that hosts longer races. In public hopper or even leagues lots of people quit especially sim damage races if you increased the lap count by 100% then only the top 3 would be left at the end of every race. That doesn’t sound like fun to me.

Although it would be nice to see the enduro races to go alongside actual races like in fm5 with spa, Le Mans, Sebring and silverstone to name a few

I’m getting fed up racing with sim damage on. Seems every other race I’ve got to pit and that, more often than not results in me not finishing the race.

I got DNF in 8th out of I think 16, so 8 never finished and I score 100 points even though there were 7 behind me.

If sim damage stays I really think either the end race time has to be increased or more laps so people who get wrecked through no fault of their own have a chance to at least finish the race and maybe score some points.
