In the patchnote I was pleased to read that the update brought new tracks (composed by the guy who played for FM3-5) as well as a selection of tracks from opuses 3, 4, 5 and 6.
So far I haven’t heard anything like that (either in any of the basic menus or in the pre-race)… on Discord some people seem to be saying they’re hearing new tracks and others are, like me, stuck on the original tracks.
I couldn’t find an option in the settings to allow this or that group of tracks to be played: what’s it like for you?
I’ve played for more than two hours yesterday and today, completed several races, and didn’t hear any new music.
I wonder if these new tracks aren’t meant to be introduced in consecutive weeks, when events for corresponding games go live. @T10ManteoMax could you please confirm if this theory is true? Or it’s just a matter of our luck or some other issue?
Haven’t heard any of the new or old music in the menus, or in the pre/post race menus either. I thought that would come with the update either on Monday or Wednesday, but still no sign of if anywhere. As I started this anniversary part of the career that came in the last Update, during the speech of the commentator I heard music from FM4? After I got to the race, the music unfortunately changed to those of the current FM…
I hope that this is not the only moment where I will hear old but old soundtracks… if so this is another step back…
I started and finished races and opened the menu screen repeatedly, but the BGM from old Forza never played. I also restarted the game several times, but the result was the same. Suspecting that BGM might be exclusive to career mode, I tried career mode multiple times, but the result was still the same.
I haven’t heard any of the added music either. Steam Build here. Did multiple online races and career. Only time I heard soemthing was during the intro to the Anniversary tour.
well in this case, and in the absence of a response, I hope that these additions are not limited to the introductions of the ephemeral career tests. I really wanted these musics to be permanently in the menus
I wish T10 would tell us why it doesn’t work. Or how it is supposed to work, I mean shouldn’t they have noticed by now that we would like to know why the songs aren’t played at all?
A simple two line response of why it is how it is, would suffice. I simply don’t understand that gamestudio and their moderators etc. why they not just tell us why.
They could tell us it’s a bug and be open about it, or that the music gets added to the playlist later or whatever.

Not just in the intro for the career mode. So since this was said officially but isn’t the case when you play the game right now shows that it’s clearly a bug, but the fact that there’s no response to this nearly a week later is disappointing. @T10ManteoMax Will this be able to be fixed soon or no?
Indeed, in the absence of a response I’m not sure that this is a breach.
The tracks are perhaps intended to align with the output of each event module, a priori this starts from FM3 (which may explain why we have nothing about FM1 and 2).
I’ll let you know in a couple of weeks if the first tracks start humming.
On the other hand, I’m wondering about the famous new music, which is currently missing

It has to be said that this isn’t the number 1 topic, which is a shame because for me music is really important, including the music in the menus and in every transition, it adds to my enjoyment of the game
I’m so glad this has already been brought up because it’s driving me NUTS! I’m dying for the nostalgia FM3 and FM4 music is gonna bring me while I work in paint booth. And I really wanna hear the new stuff that Lance Hayes made for them too. Really really hoping they can fix this easy and soon. Fingers crossed!
