Need help refunding this attempt of a game

Hello, I haven’t been able to find anywhere were I can get a refund for this excuse of a game.

Is there a specific link I can follow in order to apply for a refund ?

There really is no point waiting half a year until the memory leak get’s half fixed like it did in Horizon 3.

If you purchased it from a store then contact them to discuss a refund or investigate their returns policy.

If you purchased it online through the Microsoft store then I suggest reviewing their returns policy and / speaking with someone about the specific issues you are having with the game.

I got it from the MS Store, there’s no point discussing the issues of a rushed and untested product. I’m merely looking for a link where I can get in touch with someone over the refund, so far I haven’t found it.

I just googled this, surely you could have just done the same?

Refunds from MS website.

I managed to get in a call with the department from Xbox and it seems they can’t make a refund for digital copies of this “game”, they only do that with disc copies. Never heard of this before if I’m honest and I guess I missed it somewhere in the ToS when buying this ripoff of a “game”. Oh well, lesson learnt, gonna have to wait 6 months for this game to get somewhat fixed just like Horizon 3 did on PC, heck maybe even more. RIP.

Try to start a chat with Xbox support. If you purchased digital from the MS store it shouldn’t be problem to be refunded. I got refunded my ultimate edition. Tried the phone center first, but language barriers hurt that attempt, the chat worked like a charm. Good luck.

Yeah I just got the game refunded thanks to the chat support also. Language barriers weren’t the issue for me, the issue was them working “by the book” whilst on the phone.

Ya, the lady tried to tell me they were still fixing it and I had to wait until it was fixed to get a refund if it was still broken😆. I asked when that was supposed to be, she said they were still waiting for an answer from the developer🤦‍♂️

Yeah the guy on the phone tried telling me that “devs release updates regularly for games in order to improve the experience” as if I didn’t already know this, but I’m not keen on waiting 6 months to see IF they eventually fix this lame port, especially when the new NFS: Payback is coming out, would rather risk my money on that one for now.

UPDATE:

I have actually managed to get a refund for the game through the regular Xbox Support Chat. So basically the guy that chatted with me ended up doing the opposite of what the bloke that called me did. Gotta love it when a company has such contradictory policies/opinions within it. Oh well, glad I won’t have to deal with this garbage of a game, at least till the developers actually get their hands out of their rears and start working on the game properly. Let’s hope it won’t take them 6 months to make the game playable on the PC like they did with Horizon 3.

I guess if there’s a lesson to be learnt here is that if you want to play these “XBOX Play Anywhere” or whatever they’re called, just get an Xbox, or better off, run such a game on one of NASA’s super computers.
