My personal opinion

Having played the game throughout the weekend I must say I have enjoyed playing it. But as with any new Forza game it has its pros and cons. (Especially after Forza 4 the cons outweigh the pros)

First of all I need to say that I won’t write anything about multiplayer because I haven’t done any races online.

I am probably one of those very few who enjoys singleplayer more than multiplayer. Forza 7 has a good, but basic, singleplayer. I think there should be a lot more different series per “season”.

Let’s talk about the track and car list. I personally think Turn 10 and/or Microsoft are focusing to much on earning more money throughout the games lifetime. What I mean is that they are aiming at introducing new cars (possibly tracks) with DLC. Out of the 700 cars there aren’t that many new to the franchise. Other than Dubai there are no new tracks being introduced to the franchise. Seriously Turn 10, there are a [Mod Edit - Hieronymus (Profanity removed)] of tracks out there why don’t you give us some new ones…

I miss one big feature, which is rivals based on car class. Then there is this thing called driving with AI. Well that’s not going to happen anymore… And one thing that really annoys me is not having a testdrive option when tuning a car. I know test driving is still in the game, but why remove it?

Lastly, racing with a wheel. I have played AC, PC, IRacing, PC2 and now Forza 7. Somehow I can’t get my settings right. I am working on finding the right settings, but jeez it’s taking some time. Especially when it comes to feeling what the rear end does. When I accelerate to early out of a corner I can’t ths information through the that I need to correct it appropiatly. And also when accelerating from a standstill it sort if takes time before I get the feeling that my tires are spinning, as if there’s some delay. Anyway, I will probably get this right. But for it’s annoying me more than any of the previously named games.

I am probably going to update this thread at the end of the week
