Multiplayer participation is not possible after update 18.0 (Xbox Series X, 2 years old). FM 7 Multiplayer Xbox works. FM Multiplayer also works after update 18.0 on my old PC. But it’s too slow, only at 30 FPS with poor image quality. Restarting, hard resetting (deleting the cache) and reinstalling FM all didn’t work. Xbox Console Troubleshooting: Tried all settings, everything works in the other games except the multiplayer in Forza Motorsport! What have you done? 17 updates and I’ve never had any problems starting multiplayer unless the server was unavailable again. Does Turn 10 have to take away the last bit of fun I have in this game? Will there be a hotfix or is it time to throw the Xbox in the trash?

Turn10 are we all banned? Then send us a easy message and we can take the xbox and the gamepass into the Mülleimer. Or are you all in vacation?

Well, I play on Xbox Series, I haven’t played online for almost a week, at first I thought it was my internet, so I had to contact my internet provider, the technician reconfigured it and when I restarted the game it started working again, that same day I just tested it and didn’t play because I had commitments, but the next day when I tried to play it had the same problem.
30 seconds waiting to load and the message appears to me that “the multiplayer manager is disabled”. Yes, I know that the NAT type needs to be open and even if it’s open it doesn’t work. The funny thing is that I can play other online games normally, the problem is only with FM.
This only occurred to me after this last update.
When will T10 respond to us or fix the problem?

I have the same problem. I tried to play in the cloud, the game runs normally but multiplayer doesn’t work either.

Good evening, I solved the problem by placing a TP Link Archer 06 router between the operator’s router and the Xbox. In router operating mode. And on the operator’s router, set the manual DNS of your preference.

I tried something out:
The problem appears when i’m connected with my router. (Telekom germany)
I disconnect the console and connected it with my mobile hotspot. (Vodafone germany)
Now the problem is gone and i can play normally.
But this shouldn´t be normal  , i can´t just change to my mobile hotspot connection just to play FM again. Aditionally my data volume would to zero pretty fast

I assume with the latest update, there are some changes to the DNS or traffic system.

This was stressful but for now it started working again today. I had already set the DNS to manual on the console as one of the previous attempts.
Today I just woke up, came in here and saw your message, restarted the game and the multiplayer opened normally. So I believe that the DNS definitely needs to be set to Manual, like open NAT or the T10 may have done a discreet Hot Fix. In addition, I changed the entry port on the console itself. I had tested my cell phone’s hotspot and it had worked, but I definitely wouldn’t use the mobile internet to play if I have cable internet exactly for that purpose. So when you have isolated problems like this, be sure to report them and seek help.
If I hadn’t come here, I would have changed my internet provider before giving up on FM. I love this game but don’t make me look like a clown.

I was connected for a short time, I had lost the connection again just when I was leaving multiplayer and going to paintings, so I went back to the network settings, changed the port to manual again, closed the game, restarted the console and it started working again, there is clearly instability after the last update, the number of people affected is growing, the problem first needs to be recognized by T10, then identified so that it can be resolved. I want to be able to play without having to go through this whole process.

I guess that´s an instability problem.
Already tried to change DNS addresses multiple times but the problem still there.
I also wrote a ticket but for now they say, that it only can be my internet

The problem is the internet provider’s router, you have to put another router between the Xbox and the provider’s router.
