I’m a beginner but I’m trying to race without abs, tcs and stm. Am I the only one? Is there a specific lobby for no assist racing?
Do single player races or rivals to get use to driving without assists. If you’re not use to something and you play online you will just cause a wreck. I recommend starting in D class and making your way up.

I have to second this. Jumping into multiplayer without assists is a bad idea if you aren’t experienced racing without assists. Singleplayer is the place to get a feel for it, and there you can adjust Drivatar difficulty to something that’s just right for you as you flounder around trying to adapt to unassisted driving. Starting out in lower performance classes and working up is also a good way to gradually adapt. Jumping into a high-performance car without traction control is going to repeatedly end in disaster if you aren’t used to driving without TCS.

there are no lobbies for no assists in MP, but i believe you can set up private matches with friends and force the assists off. I tend to run ABS only but depending on the cars i will throw on TCS if Im in MP or if its a banging room I throw TCS and STM so I can hold it better and get back on the track quicker.

I miss the old “expert” lobbies. No assists, full simulation damage.
As for driving without assists, once you’ve gotten used to the dynamics of it, you will normally out perform anyone using assists.
I think I phrased it poorly. In a private match I can turn off assists, put the drivatars on unbeatable and win every time. Although I am a beginner and therefore prone to mistakes, how to start was not my real question.
My real question, what is everyone else running? I feel like I’m the only one sliding in the multiplayer I’m running. That and I’m the only one attempting to run clean.
It could be the tuning an un tuned car can side around like it’s on ice, a well tuned car can grip the track like glue… is that help to you? Try some other tunes and see if your car feels better?
Personally I only run breaking line, and that’s just because some of the layouts can be… Unexpected.
I use normal steering and brake line personally.

I always run with STM and TCS on. I see no worthy incentive to turn those assists off.

i tend to use abs normal steering and braking lines unless the cars really bad then i will use traction but leave stability off
Normal steering,no assists,no braking line only way to fly
ABS on, STM and TCS off, Simulation Steering, with manual/clutch and no line
I tend to run with ABS, TCS and STM. Manual with clutch. No lines at all. I also use simulation steering and damages. I feel like I can tune my cars better with those assists on. I know it can be done without, just my personal preference.
i run ABS on, normal steering, breaking line only, manual/clutch, TCS & STM off… unless the car is wild then they go on more for the sake of others online so i don’t crash anyone for bad driving in a crazy car

if i run a 2wd car in b class or above (a rare occurence) i will turn TCS on, but not STM. STM IS THE DEVIL.
Why is STM the devil?
I race online with no assists or lines, manual with clutch and normal steering. Cockpit view unless the windscreen gets broken, if that happens i switch to hood view, but it’s a bit weird TBH.
