It’s called a sale. Things go on sale all the time and people who bought those things at full price don’t generally get refunded the difference. And, no, this isn’t even a notably short time after a game’s launch for there to be a sale.

Yep, some vendors may refund you the price difference out of goodwill, but if you bought a game while it wasn’t on sale and got multiple months of use out of it, you’ve likely already made up the value of the sale yourself

I bought a Gopro the day it launched then 3 weeks later that store knocked $100 off it so I went in and spoke with them saying I would have waited if I had known it was going to be discounted so soon after release. The store refunded $100 without any issue.
If I had paid full price for FM8 it wouldn’t matter what discount was offered and when, I’d want all my money back period!
There was a game recently I purchased on Steam, played it for around 10 hours over a few weeks waiting for a the 1st patch to drop that the devs said would fix the issues, it didn’t and I asked for a refund well over the 2 hour period, Steam refunded no questions asked.
That’s great advice! And you remember that next time you order that hamburger and you get a cold chicken sandwich. Just eat it without complaining, it’s food. Life’s to short!

If people Wait a Full Year or a couple of months you will get it even less physical copy only
I think the recent 50% off sale may indicate otherwise. No other recent Forza game has had such a big discount less than a year into its release.

I can’t really complain about more people playing. They could give it away for free and it would only enhance my experience with even more full lobbies
